MONICA...... We had a relaxing cruise to Mexico. Liked RCI soooooo much better than Carnival. The ship was nice, clean, decent food, nice enough staff. We would sail with them again for sure. Not even close to Disney, but doable for sure. Took lots of pics and will probably post them on FB because Venetia says it's WAY easier than on here. So there ya go....liked my new camera too.

MONICA...... We had a relaxing cruise to Mexico. Liked RCI soooooo much better than Carnival. The ship was nice, clean, decent food, nice enough staff. We would sail with them again for sure. Not even close to Disney, but doable for sure. Took lots of pics and will probably post them on FB because Venetia says it's WAY easier than on here. So there ya go....liked my new camera too.

This is almost like precruise days...I have over 15 or so pages to get caught up on

I am officially on days off/vacation I'm using my 2 days off this week, 2 days off next and 2 vacation days thrown in and heading to LV tomorrow So glad I have this little outing to look forward to! Not as nice as a cruise, but it will get me away from work, winter and my very busy home for at least a few days!

Can't possibly get caught up here right now, just wanted to say hi...and bye

Today is after all International Kiss and a Smack Day.

It's official! I'm ready to start thinking our trip to WDW in May.

Now I can check in with civilization. We had a truly awful 3-day weekend.

First we had the debacle with my losing Sukie's data.

Then on Monday we brought Tallulah and Truman in for their dental. The vet said that Truman's heart murmur has gotten worse and he needs to see a veterinary specialist.

With that news we went off to our doctor to get our annual physicals and find out from the doctor's office that Sukie doesn't have health insurance! Blue Cross said his insurance was cancelled!

This had me in a real panic wondering whether I had made a mistake during benefits enrollment, and of course there was nobody I could phone since it was a company holiday.

Then we return home after the exams, to a phone call from the vet to tell us that Truman had to have 6 teeth extracted and Tallulah 2 teeth. The bill was subsequently higher than expected. Let's just say that we could have gone on a 3 night cruise for what it cost. Also Truman's ears are infected and he needs something squirted into his ears once a week for 3 months.

The good news for today was that Sukie does have health insurance and that the fiasco at the doctor's office was due to an Blue Cross administrative error.

I think I want to crawl under the covers and not come out again until the spring.

OMG That was an awful weekend! Hope all is quieter this week

I went to WW this morning and lost another 1half lbs total 7lbs lost so far...

trouble that I am away this weekend to Gleneagle for weekend with 5 ladies

there will be champagne, indian foods, crisps, nuts and strawberries with chocolate also go out next week for my birthday too...

I've been bad. Not gaining, not losing. I'm still tracking, but I'm going over in points. We have stuff in the house that I shouldn't eat, so naturally I do and all my other hard work doesn't count.

I've got to get my priorities straight again and get the other foods out of the house. I need to continue to lose.

Deb, you can do it, we all know you can! You've done so well for such a long time, this is just a speed bump.

Yes, this Saturday. It is going to be a lazy one. We have nothing booked, just eating and relaxing with probably a walk at each port. Going to miss our old table mates!!!

Holly, this is wonderful news. I love the three men currently in your life, but Marvin sounds like the keeper to me. I'm so glad he's moving on so that you two can date and see what develops. Have fun!

I have a thing for blue eyes, and his are very blue. When he has his glasses off, I sort of stutter when talking to him because I get distracted by those blue eyes. I was such a babbling, bumbling idiot today whenever I talked to him. I made sure to sit far away at dinner tonight with our group of 12 after work. LOL! I was too nervous to sit near him. I did overhear him telling a co-worker he needs some companionship in his life. I jokingly told him, "You have your cat, what more do you need?"

I'm VERY nervous about tomorrow! I'm sure he'll cancel. The co-worker whose house we're going to is helping me stay calm. She suggested what shirt I should wear and reminded me tons not to be too overbearing and pushy. I told her I'm not sure I can go, I'm too nervous! She's so good at easing my nerves.

that's good news monica....as long as we see you for dinner at ian's and at the lincoln square brunch the following morning. Oh and then there's the pool party in my hotel on friday night. You don't want to miss any of those meets. I hope you can fly out to see the "rents" (as they are referred to by today's youth) on the 27th.

Oh, I could never consider being with anybody who didn't enjoy Disney or at least tolerate it (because it could grow on them). I took a picture of his messy desk today (I jokingly told his other secretary Jan that I'd show it to the new guy as a warning NOT to let his office get this messy because it would piss off his secretaries!) and chuckled at a Mickey Mouse letter holder and a Marvin the Martian tape dispenser on his desk.
