Deb, I want to tell you that my arrangement is still on the hearth!! The leaves have mostly died, but still look good, and the berries and other bits are still looking great. It still looks a little Christmassy in my room!!! It has been lovely.

Oh I'm so glad Marilyn. I had to throw out my lillies and roses before leaving on our trip. I love how a nice arrangement can perk up a room. It always makes me happy and I'm glad it did that for you too.

Gydell, are you doing the B2B with us? It would be great to sail with you again. We're doing the champagne girls on the first leg of the b2b. You can't miss that. This will be our third time and we'll get it down perfect.:cloud9: Sassy Bubbles will be making an appearance also.

Yes we are!!!

Just watched the girls leave on the webcams...

Mom even came up to watch... she just LOVES that ship!!! :cloud9:

I certainly hope so! We're in WDW from 16 Oct to 29 Oct with spawn of Sukie.

I certainly hope we can all get together. Not sure where we're going to be staying yet. One of Lucy's mates is coming along. We will either be in a 2-bedroom at OKW or I may see if I can get a 3-bedroom at SSR Tree House Villas.

Those 3 bed THV look fab - definitely on our list for the future... Anyway, sounds like we'll be in a similar location as we have a 2 bed already booked at OKW! :goodvibes

We decided to not use points this time around as Disney UK have a ridiculous offer including free DDP and reduced price passes so we'll be renting some of our points out for the first time...

Ooooh!!! How exciting!!! :cool1:

We'll chat... :goodvibes
:thumbsup2

And I, for one, CANNOT wait!!!

What's up with you? I didn't know you were even around ;) Like I am :lmao:

right?!?!

I love that you all are still checking in. This is what makes disney so special. I am excited to report that there are 5 cabins of friends travelling on the wonder mexico. I am working on the la to vancouver one, but it's not looking good. My daughter wants to go back to florida to really see the world..she's only been 1 day.

So question for all of you WDW experts:
What are the 3 best times to travel to WDW and the 3 WORST?

Thanks for the help!

worst... any time the kids are out of school (summer and breaks...) and also any holiday week... NEVER go during Xmas, easter or presidents week...

Best time is Sept, January (end) and Feb before school breaks begin...

Did they wave back to you?

NO... and I'm mad... :rotfl: They seem to have had a "private" sail away party (Cheri posted on FB...) so they were on the other side of the ship...

So I'm sitting here on my living room couch smelling like a salad....just add oil and lettuce. Following doctor's instructions, John wrapped my leg in gauze, sprayed a mixture of vinegar and water on it to saturate it, then placed it in a garbage bag so I could sit for an hour and marinate. The things we do to get healthy....who would have ever thought I'd be a sitting salad.:laughing::laughing::confused3:confused3

Did he add a nice spice rub to it too?
If he lights up the BBQ - get worried!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Tell her Vancouver is WAAAAAAYYYY more fun than WDW!!

and then afterward see if she ever trusts you again...

Perhaps next year Deb. Not sure what we are doing later in 2011 - seems I have so many plans at the moment and 2011 is so far ahead. We would really like to see some more of Europe. Whilst we have been to many countries, there is still lots to see and some great places to revisit. We do keep thinking however that as we get older(and perhaps have health issues) we might not be able to do the long haul flights, so that is one reason we have been doing them instead of taking a trip over to mainland Europe. We can do that when we are much older.

We are really looking forward to our cruises though. We still have a dummy booking made last September with a date in December, which we won't be doing as we will be flying over on the 1st or 2nd Jan!!! We moved it to DU, so do we just ask them to move it on a few months?

Lots of planning going on by everyone this week, myself included! I had the Dec dummy date too Marilyn. I just changed it this morning. My original intention was to move it to 2011 or 2012 but I've gone and booked Oct16/2010 :cool1: Not positive yet whether I can keep this date but I'm hoping :wizard: I would like to stay at wdw one day before and 2 days after the cruise...we'll see :confused3

My favourite time of the year at WDW is late April(any time after Easter)-early May. Not too humid yet, little rain, nice and warm! I love the Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot this time of year too. I also like Oct (Wine and Food festival ;))The Halloween party at MK is lots of fun! It is usually not quite as humid as in June-Sept, but this isn't always the case. It is still hurricane season and I did meet up with Wilma a few years back :scared1: My third favourite time is early December, I love the Christmas decorations in the parks and at the resorts and the party at MK. The weather can be a little cool sometimes though. I have enough cold weather here during the winter that I don't like the chance of cool weather at WDW in Dec-Feb. I wouldn't go during a holliday week either!

I've got a question for you...I'm thinking of visiting DL before the LA to Vancouver repo but that would mean going on Easter weekend, the Monday actually :scared1: Should I try this? Will it be a zoo? I have never been and this might be my only chance to see it. Would you give it a try :confused3

I'm supposed to be working tonight, but came home after 3 hours.I hurt my back this morning :sad2: It's been such a long time since I've had a problem that it took me by surprise! I was just scrubbing the bathroom. I have been going to the gym again for the last few weeks and feeling really proud of myself! I think I must have been putting too much weight on some of the machines . It hasn't hurt while I've been there though...so who knows. I had to go in to work to at least complete payroll, and now I'll have to go in on my day off next week to make up the time, since we have no sick days whatsoever  I am thankful for my wonderful staff though, they rallied and stepped up so I could leave early, or I would have been at work until my shift was over at midnight!

I have fond memories of Dland at Easter, it's the first time we took the kiddos :-) Molly was just under 5 Willie was 2. We had a blast. Of course those many years ago it was fine, but these days it would be a zoo. But I'd still go ;) The crowds at Dland don't phase me, but it depends on what you can tolerate and if you want to do things quickly or not?

We are planning on doing the same thing and figure we are just gonna bite the bullet and go. We figure the crowds will be chaotic. Just stay away from the Peter Pan ride and Toy Story Mania ... LOL

Kathe sorry you are having a hurt back, rest up and feel better

Willie just got home from Little League try outs - long day - he is happy he thinks he did well so hopefully he will be high on the pick list and big picture he will be on a team with some of our great friends from last season.

We are out the door soon to special dinner for Molly. She as you remember got straight A's last trimester in school and she also got the Maverick Spirit award (good kid award) 6 out of whole 7th grade class ~230 kids :thumbsup2
and she starts her vocal lessons next week (which she has wanted for a few years) and we finally fit it in the budget of time and money. So a nice dinner out to tell and show her that we think she is great.

Willie gets lots of kudos in his life from sports awards, so it's nice once in a while to show Molly that we think her efforts are equally important and special :thumbsup2

Off for now - I'll facebook and then upload some pictures here later for ya :cool2:

YOU told me that Panama was more fun that WDW.. but at least I ended up at DISNEYLAND when we were done.. ;)

Us too... Mom will need a day or two after traveling cross country to rest... I don't care if I ride anything... I'd just like to go and wander around and see what's going on at DL... we were there last time on Memorial Day weekend and if it's that crowded then it's not THAT bad... but I won't be upset to sit and soak up the sun on the really nice loungers by the pool at the Grand Cal... :thumbsup2

YAY MISS MOLLY!!! GO SPEED!!!

:thumbsup2 It will take some planning I guess! When it gets closer I may need some advice on what I should or shouldn't take the time to see! I've been to WDW often in the past few years, so really I just want to see the DL park, and experience any of the rides that are different than at WDW.
