I saw it....only two important things:

1. Sail date is January 26, 2011

2. Booking starts November 9, 2009

BUT we don't know where it's going. I'll keep checking Twitter.

got the jist....

Maiden voyage 1/26/11 w/ bookings opening up 11/9/09 - that was it basically, right? (except for pics)?

you got basically everything and pics and virtual tour now up on dcl webside under ships so you didn't miss a thing!

Well now we could do both the PC and the Inaugural Dream. We can fly back to Orlando!!! Who do you think I could ask to book a room for us?

Posted on dcl's site...

Disney Dream cruises will be available to book on November 6, 2009

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

We dock in LA on the 21st, so would be a bit tight if we wanted a few days at DL!!!!

Could fly back on the 25th and stay at the Hyatt - or book a port hotel.

November 6th doesn't give long to sort out which type of room you want does it?

We can work it out. If I can book early as a Gold, then I'll book for you.

other threads are talking about gold booking on 11/2

Well, I know straight up that my DH and DS can't do that late in January - I'm not 100% sure I can! So I'm back to square one. I had so hoped it would debut just after New Year - I guess DCL doesn't love me after all...

other threads are talking about gold booking on 11/2

my ta posted something that said gold/platinum on 11/2 and silver and rest of world on 11/9. she also thought since it was 3,4,5 day sailings (not sure where she saw that) it should only be a 200 pp deposit.

Just read it will be $400 per perspn NON refundable deposit. I sure hope not as I won't commit to that.

That is because your computer is set to Eastern time and the webpage is reading that correctly. Mine of course is set to PST and because the website is crapo it's not reading the time right

"Powered by HP Technology" :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Ah, only one stateroon per platinum or gold booking. That causes a problem!!

Ok, bedtime here. Nite all. Enjoy DREAMing!!!

Well, I've been tending to sis and totally forgot about the announcement! I just went back and read the last few pages and it doesn't sound like I missed much...I got the D23 mag. yesterday and saw the pictures last night--all I can say is "WOW"! And the water slide/coaster looks amazing! I wonder if the non-refundable deposit thing is true? It would make sense... Since I'm on the PC I don't know if I could do the maiden Dream voyage, ($$, not time). Do we know prices yet? I tried to find info on the DCL website and couldn't come up with anything. I'll keep checking back because I know if there's info to be found, it'll be HERE!:thumbsup2

Hi

I came home and look forward to see the announcement but I am a bit disappointed because I saw Live Talking without subtitles on... :sad2:

I saw the pictures which look so beautiful but I need more information?

Do anyone know which programme I will be reading??

So is anybody else waiting with anticipation for 4:15 to get here? I'm anxious and excited.

Michelle and Barbara and me and John are trying to coordinate a mini DISmeet with Deborah and friends when they come to NY for turkey. I'm thinking that Sat after turkey would work out best traffic wise. John will drive in, pay to park and we'll grab a cab over to Deborah's hotel. It'll just be across town from where we park. We could all go out to brunch and share some champagne since we are the Champagne Girls.

It sounds like a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to it.

I'm going wherever Deb and John goes...

Why aren't you just driving on over to Chicago?

You could come this way... Mrs. F could make it here and back on 1/2 a tank...;)

Oh so you want me and Michelle and Deborah to drive over to Chicago to see you too? We would love to but I don't think we have that much time.

I'm just over an hour from the city and Shell is just over 2 hrs. We can meet at her brother's house and John can drive us into the city. We can then park and take a cab. That's what we usually do in NYC. In fact, we're going in on this Sunday to Grand Central to see the Scrooge Train.

See...told you... she has it all worked out...

Wish you could too. We LOVE mini DISmeets....or any reason to drink champagne.

Wearing pink is preferred, but not mandatory. Tiaras and boas are optional.

Ahem... if I have to get my tiara out of the Royal Vault... John's wearing pink too!! :lovestruc :lovestruc

We were in Scranton, PA on Monday for my doctor appointment. Here's a look at fall up there....meaning northern Pocono Mountains.

It's a very very old neighborhood, look at the ivy on the building.

Look at this old church on the corner of my doctor's office.

Here's some REDS for Ken and Shannon.

Very pretty... My brother went to college in Scranton...

OH, I didn't know that. That is wonderful news. Do you think they'll take bookings in a few days to a week?

Me and Cheri and Lisa can each book 4 people. That's excellent.

Now it just has to be affordable.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Affordable.... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: That's a good one... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Deborah... go to Disneycruise.com and go to ships... click on the Dream and it will give you pictures and info... :thumbsup2

Must say....I am actually disappointed by the renderings of the Dream. The rooms are smaller & the fact that it doesn't look like you can split the beds in the "cheap" rooms....so that means 1 person gets the bed & the other the couch.

I do NEED to go on her, but contemporary is not my style. I do like the rooms (again the "cheap" ones) but I really don't like the renderings of the concierge level rooms. WAY too modern for me!

I think I read the dates of 11/2 for Gold/Platinum and 11/9 for silvers. I did also see $400 deposit per person/nonrefundable....I wonder if they would allow shifting to another cruise/sailing. (very important to get that answer). I also saw that G/P sailers will only be able to book 1 room per member....oh well - Thanks anyways Lisa & Deb :goodvibes Will have to see what is left over for us peons! (I can't spell :rotfl:)

Don't think I'm going to bother w/ a b2b on her....4 nts will probably be enough...I'd be able to try out the new restaurants & clubs plus look around while people are in Nassau :)
