Mom wouldn't have turned it on except we were both turning :cold::cold::cold:

Sounds like it's time to unpack the parkas!

Everyone here is chilly except me, not sure if I'm finally feeling my age(eek, is it possible I'm having hot flashes!) or if someone's mother, whom I won't name, is the source :furious:

Goodnight all! Hope everyone has a great weekend. I'll be working through mine! Guess that's what I get for having a cruise addiction

Your idea for a new schedule sounds good Holly :thumbsup2 It sounds like it might work out well for everyone. Wishing you luck, I'm sure it will take a little adjustment initially.

Thanks Kathe. I haven't had a response from his dad yet. I'm sure he's mulling it over and has to discuss it with his wife. She might be a problem in this because I'm not sure she'd want Tyler there a whole week straight. When I picked him on last Saturday, she let me in and told me she was about to kill him because he wasn't quiet while the baby was taking a nap.

I also suspect his dad might want to ask his attorney how this would work because since it evens up our days with Tyler, it would knock just over $200 off his support amount. That's fine with me, I just want Tyler to be able to have more days in a row with each of us, more continuity, etc. :thumbsup2

 Thank goodness for you and your son.

Can't wait to share what I bought today! Nothing big, very small and insignificant, but DISNEY! :thumbsup2 I have take a picture. :goodvibes

Aren't these cute? :goodvibes

:littleangel: :littleangel: :littleangel:MAJOR PRAYERS AND PIXIE DUST PLEASE!!!!! :littleangel: :littleangel: :littleangel:I got an email earlier from my friends, the ones I go and work for in Jersey whenever Kathy has to take time off to spend with Kyle. Kyle has Cerebral Palsy - He's a sweet heart... my buddy and he's going through a tough time... this is the email I got... Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts...

Kyle has a very large blockage in his UPPER airway. It looks like we only have 2 choices. Our 1st choice is that Kyle would have no surgery and live with a trach tube. The 2nd choice is a very delicate surgery where they will open the blockage, they will insert a stent (a piece of his ribcage would probably be used if need be). He would be trached for approximately 3-6 months during the recovery and follow-up procedures. He will also not be able to swallow very well which could lead to a feeding tube. He won't be able to talk w/the trach for about 6-8 weeks while the stent is in. The 1st phase as we understand it would mean being in Cincinnati for about 2 weeks. Kyle would be hospitalized for about 7-10 days then we will have to travel back and forth for follow-ups.

So, we will ask each of you for your thoughts and prayers as we maneuver our way through yet another bump in the road, seems like our road gets bumpier! As we get closer to a decision of time we will let you know what is going to happen. Right now we have a lot of questions to ask before we move forward.

Love, Kathleen (Kathy) and David

Sending all the positive thoughts and pixie dust I can gather up and blow their way. How sad and tragic. It just reinforces that you have to be thankful for each and every day and live it as healthy as possible....sometimes you just don't have a choice.

That's my biggest problem Jackie, not having the right foods in stock. I refilled my supply at work and happily snacked all day on 1 or 2 point foods. My co-workers were SHOCKED to see me eating carrots and an apple in the afternoon. LOL! :rotfl2:

Good for you....some is better than none and at least you're eating healthy.

I could not do it if we didn't shop and keep the right foods in the house. It would be impossible.

Very well done you!!! :thumbsup2 You are unstoppable this time.

It did take many tries to get it to stick. This one seems to be working the best.

It also took many tries to quit smoking. That's the key, don't give up on trying...sooner or later you'll figure out what works for you.

It isn't the same place. it is smaller, just 3 bedrooms for the 2 of us!!:lmao: It is very nice and has a lovely pool and outlook over a lake.

That is so funny....it's smaller....just 3 bedrooms for the 2 of you. haha. It sounds beautiful. We would love pictures....hint hint.

I am a countess!!!:cool1:

It's good to be the countess!

It's been very bleak here too :sad2:I was prepared for it to be much colder, but I was also expecting it to be sunny! It's rained every day since I got home. I wouldn't have put the heat on despite the cold, except Serenity is here and her little toes were freezing!

....Must keep that baby warm....no little toes freezing. How great that she's there with you more often now...and your son too. Things happen for reasons. Even though it wasn't planned, it's a blessing.

I just paid our Jan 10, 2010 cruise in full. So how come it's our "no frills" cruise but I just booked Palo Brunch and an Atlantis excursion? We plan to be floating down the Atlantis lazy river with drink in hand on John's 59th birthday. Might as well WOOP it up his last year of fiftysomething.

Even though it's only a 4 nighter, I'm really looking forward to it. Just me and John. We're not even doing FE gifting with the other disers. I signed in on their thread but they're only on page 6 or something and the cruise is only 3 months away. My Alaska cruise thread is way past that number and it's a year and a half away. Wow! What a difference.

I think there's far less engagement with the 3 and 4 night cruises. They're just too short.

Will you and John drive down to the port?

I remember doing the 11 night Southern on the Wonder and it was the first time that all the cast members had to learn 7 new towel animals. I know, it's just different. Longer is better. But some is better than none.

Will you and John drive down to the port?

Nope. We're flying in, getting on the boat and flying home. We have NEVER done it like this before. We'll price it out both ways and see if it's better to rent a car or take car service from the airport to the port. Also, I MUST get there at 9:00 am so I might have to fly in the day before and take a local hotel room for a night....then a cab or shuttle. I'll start looking into all of that this week....I just wanted to get it paid in full first and book my onboard activities.

Funny story.....John usually feeds Ella every night. I do Angel....we share turtles. Anyway, John is in the kitchen marinating some pork chops for the grill. Ella sees him in there and thinks that it's 6pm and time for dinner....it was only 2:30pm and way too early....Ella didn't care she popped up and started making noises like the sea gulls do outside Living Seas at Epcot on the way to see Talkin Turtle....CRUSH! They say, "mine, mine, mine, mine...." that was Ella. John was like, "not yours, not now." John said to her, "mine, mine, mine.":lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:
