Goodnight......er.....good morning.....er......I'm so confused! :rotfl2: All this excitement about cruising is keeping me awake! FINALLY, I have one planned! :cool1:

Gee, I hope I get up on time to pick Tyler up at 5pm! :rotfl2:

If my mom decided to show up tomorrow for some bizarre reason (she's getting bored in her retirement), I'm going to smack her.

WOW you will go to PC repo in 2011, with Heather should be fun but I think it is on wrong times :confused3

dont worry about it keep you awake as me too I was thinking about flight how to get there in Alaska which I have no clue...

Anyway I think I stay with RC which we booked it at first place as the price is good for us...

Good morning. Too much excitement for one to cope with here!!!

Leaving soon for the Magic. Had a great evening and meal at citricos last night with Jackie, Cheri, Kathe and Diane, jackie's sister. Ian and Sukie backed out as Ian wasn't feeling well. Keep your eyes open for photos when Jackie gets back!!!

Not sure what cruise(s) we would like to do. Timing sucks for us with being onboard for the 2 weeks!!!;)

Probably stick with the PC Repo though.

Bye for now.:cool1:

While I'd love to do Alaska, 7 nights just doesnt seem long enough onboard, so now I'm SERIOUSLY thinking about PC Repo January 2011!!!

Dennis and I would not sail to Alaska that early in the season either. Late June would be the earliest for us.

We would be interested in a late summer.

They never even mention the testing at our school. We did not even know when Aaron took them.....neither did he. They did not mention it to the kids either, just another day with another task. And they score high.

Angie...I'll let you know what dates we are thinking of after I get through my jam packed weekend and onto the relaxing work week, LOL!

I can't say I am in favor of the new emphasis on testing in WA and there is a reason that Jaide will most likely be homeschooled at some point in the future...because I want her to actually learn and not just study to pass a test!

My Stepmother said that 7 days isnt long enough either, which is why we are planning on doing the B2B on the way up.

If there wasn't the drydock issue in Sept. we would be looking at the return trip to LA as an option for a B2B.

I used to think they fake the remembering people, and I called one of them on it one time. One cruise, we saw our servers from a year ago across the dining room in a different section. They came to us on the first night and said, "Oh, you're back!" or something like that. I said something like, "We remember you, but there's no way you can remember us, but I hear you guys do a good job pretending!" I don't remember the servers names, but one told us he didn't remember our names, but he reminded us of a night at dinner when one of the cruisers at our table spilled a drink on the table (Bethany) and Tyler stood up and yelled, "Quick, somebody call 911!" He was 4 years old and it was hilarious! And my coworker has had a couple experiences....one time a bartender I think, was walking behind her the first day of a cruise and was yelling her name, and she turned around and he said "I thought that was you Jan!" It had been a couple years since she cruised. And another time, the guy who was her room steward one year was her DAUGHTER'S room steward 3 years later, he saw a picture of Jan and her husband on the desk in the room and asked her daughter (not knowing she was her daughter) "How do you know Jan and Dave?" That was crazy! All the other stories I've heard about CMs remembering people are like that....names and all. It's kind of creepy!!!! :scared1:

I've wondered if they take notes or something or if the cruise line gives them a list of previous cruisers they've taken care so they know we are going to be on again and they look at notes.

A dentist office we went to in CA kept notes about hobbies etc. I thought they were really good at remembering things like I scrapbook, love Disney and had been on several cruises until I had a brand new hygenist asking if I was doing a lot of scrapbooking still - then I realized they must take notes.

I agree about 7 days not being enough that's why we want the B2B up as well :thumbsup2

We can't travel in September so that made our decision that much easier!

Hi,

Daniel and I are thinking of the the PC cruise 2011!! He would miss a few days of the Spring Semester of his senior year!! he says that will be no problem!! I think I can book early....we have been on 11 cruises now I think!!

We are also talking about a family cruise with friends one of the first 2 weeks of August for Alaska!!

I will catch up and see who else is doing this cruise!!

Oh, I sure hope so Marilyn! I'd LOVE to cruise with you and John and I know Heather and her family would love to as well! :yay: I'd want to actually spend some time with you this time.
Tyler wasn't on medications last cruise, so I'm pretty sure I'll have a more enjoyable time in that regard, and I'd imagine he'll do better in the kids' clubs because now I have some information and "tools" to share with them on dealing with him. :thumbsup2

Of course you're not able to read this because you're headed for the MAGIC!!!!!! Enjoy! :dance3:

HOORAY!!!!! I hope so! Tyler and I are doing that one, but not many others are. I didn't even get to meet you last time, so I need to make sure that happens this time!

Oh.....oops....by the way....HI GINA! Nice to see you here! ;) How is Olivia liking being a big sister?

Well John....Lisa W and I are talking about a midsummer cruise! The April/May sounds good for 13 days, but a no go for the weather and school situation. I'll let the rest of the thieves warm up the boat for me! :thumbsup2

How about one of the first 2 weeks of August? How will the weather be in Alaska that time of the year?

:wave2: How is everyone doing? That was exciting news this morning. I think Alaska would be fun - I was also crossing my fingers for Hawaii in the mix. We couldn't do the May cruise...we canceled our April transatlantic b/c we found out middle school and missing time is a no-no around here. So I think we would go in August before school starts up again. We have a placeholder cruise right now...so will for sure change. I just don't know if I can be happy with only 7 days!

Hope everyone is doing well. I'm huge! Got 4 weeks to go. Got gestational diabetes with this pregnancy so such a pain - have to test myself several times a day and take insulin. Good news is maybe the baby can come early! STILL have not come up with a name. Right not the ones in the running (besides Penny of course) is Kylie, Abigail, and Isabel. Argg.. hormones make me think all names don't work. I also like Annie, but that is my sister's name who we see/hang out with all the time, so might be confusing as she gets older... any suggestions???

:wave2::wave2::wave2::wave2::wave2::wave2::wave2: HI LISA!!

So glad your are almost all done "cooking"!!

I love Annie...(my 15 year old)...and she has been an :littleangel: :littleangel: :littleangel: to raise!!!

I wanted to name my next daughter Addie.....but we were afraid that this was too close to Annie.....so we chose Gretchen.....

Consider Addie....so cute!! :yay::yay::yay:

Found some basic pricing on the Disney cruiseline site:

Rates for the seven-night Alaskan itinerary start at $939 per person for a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy.

Also found this little tidbit:
To prepare for the Alaska sailings, a brand-new venue called Outlook Café will be added to the Disney Wonder during dry dock in October. Located high atop Deck 10, the 2,500-square-foot Outlook Café is a stylish retreat for guests to relax and enjoy a beverage or cocktail as they peer out through floor-to-ceiling, curved glass windows at breathtaking vistas. The design of Outlook Café is sophisticated with contemporary, Art Deco inspiration. An elegant spiral staircase connects Outlook Café with the existing Cove Café one deck below. The 65-seat lounge has a granite-topped cocktail bar with comfortable seating throughout the space, all providing picture-perfect views of the surrounding landscapes.

ME! ME! ME! :yay: You're yet another thieve I didn't get to meet last time. I was sad that I just didn't get to meet many people last time. I'm optimistic that this will be a different cruise because Tyler has a better idea of his issues and is better able to control himself (and meds make a big difference too).

OK, I've got some farming to do before I head to the laundromat. And I'm going to take pictures of things to post on Craig's List to sell. I've sold a couple things recently just to get rid of unused stuff lying around, now the upcoming booking is more incentive to get moving on clearing out more stuff! :goodvibes We have 2 smaller guinea pig cages to get rid of, and lots of other stuff. :thumbsup2
