oh gosh, it is quiet here....

I fall asleep while watch the film and I am annoying that I wake up and the film finish

Hi Deborah! Tyler and I are enjoying a relaxing day at home. He asked me during the week if we could just stay home this weekend, and I agreed. I had a nap earlier while he watched a movie and played, we played on the computer a while together, we played in the backyard a bit, then played hockey in my driveway, and tried to fly a kite, and are now relaxing again inside. It's a BEAUTIFUL sunny and warm day today! All our windows are open. We'll probably go for a walk later because we both enjoy being outside when it's so nice out there. Now Tyler's cleaning while I play online.

Lazy day planned today.

Got up in time to watch my BC Lions (Canadian Football) play in Montreal at 10:00am. Unfortunately they lost the game right at the end.

Now it is time to watch the "Banjo Bowl" (Saskatchewan vs. Winnipeg - Canadian Football).

While watching that I'll be flipping back and forth to watch the 'Hawks (NFL) and their season opener. (Hi Kaylee)

And then it will be picking whatever football game is on after that.

Shannon is out golfing with her work. The girls are playing on the computer (webkinz).

So not much is going to be happening here today.

But it does look like a nice day outside and it is getting warm in the house today.

I fell asleep at 10:30 last night - didn't sleep through, but was able to go back... & I DVR all my movies... (still don't have time to watch them though...)

& I love Cherie... but she needs to stop posting on FB... Show us pictures after the trip so I don't feel so

Well, we continued our day of fun. I decided to make Mickey pancakes with our Mickey pancake maker for supper tonight, just for the fun of it! Tyler thought I was nuts, but I told him sometimes it's fun to have breakfast for supper. Then after supper we played NHL Monopoly for AN HOUR! That's a long time for Tyler to play a game without getting frustrated about not understanding or not being ahead. We left the game in progress and will try to finish tomorrow after work.

YOu know... Tyler is getting older and I think it has helped tremendously with his being in this school...

How is he doing with his sister?

Today I put in a request with the onboard agent for the PC repo and the b2b in April. She says she'll book them for me next Mon.

YOu know... Tyler is getting older and I think it has helped tremendously with his being in this school...

How is he doing with his sister?

So far pretty good! No noticeable anxiety about her being around and she's 2 months old now, so he'd be past that by now if there were any I think. Up until now, he barely even acknowledged her existence, but when I picked him up on Saturday, he excitedly told me he can make her smile! So he showed me.....he just was making some silly noises and she just stares at him and smiles, then stops smiling when he walks away. So cute! This was the first time I got to see her awake and she's soooooooo cute! I actually got a little smile when tickling her feet.

Sorry to hear this. Can you do a different Alaskan one? I think others here are doing different weeks, so you'd probably have at least a couple other thieves onboard with you.

I'm a little worried. I called my TA to ask about sending in the deposit. I was assuming $500/person deposit and was planning on sending $1000 to the TA this week. I was told it's possible DCL will increase the deposit amount because they're not releasing any info on the deposit amount until the day booking opens. So if I send in $1000 it might not be enough and I'd miss out on booking because DCL won't allow anybody to book with less than the deposit amount like they have in the past (in the past you could book and have like 48 hours to subit full deposit). But I guess what I can do is wait until people book on the 21st and ask what they were told the deposit is, then I can still send it out on time to get it to the TA by the 28th. Yeah, that will work! OK......brainstorming while typing.....no more worries!

That's cute! How has Tyler liked going back to school?

Not happy about it. School is not a happy place for him, but things are going well so far. I suspect that's because he's not really doing any schoolwork yet. When that starts, his frustration level goes through the roof and problems start happening, but it's nice to hear he's at least having a bit of time with no incidents. That's good for his self-esteem.
