We got a bad news this morning that Ian's Uncle died as we don't know what the reason so we are waiting to hear from family... He was single, around 60 years old (I think)...

A joke to start the day with....


During a recent password audit, it was found that a blonde was using the following password:

MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofy

When asked why such a big password, she said that it had to be at least 8 characters

I love it! and I've used all of those as passwords at work, only one character at time

Tomorrow's the big day! We find out if Chicago is the host city for the 2016 Summer Olympics.

(Too bad we're not trying to host the winter olympics. Skiing would be a very interesting event. Very slow, but interesting.)

you could go back outside for the events... like they did at Lake Placid in 1932... do you think Lake Michigan will freeze over in time for speed skating?

Well... summer is over.... I have had to put the heat on...

I put it on yesterday for the first time. It's cold and damp. It was nice to be warm and tropical for a change on vacation. Now back to reality and another cold and wet season. It's been raining since early Spring...now we're into Fall and it's still raining.

But Deb just wait... because of all the rain and cooler temps... the leaves this fall are BEAUTIFUL!!!! Mom and I went up to the ADKS last weekend... just a drive up to the Museum and then dinner at Logans... I'll post some pics later...

Can't wait to see them. Ours are just starting to turn. Usually we see the beginning of it then go on vacation then come home to none left. This year we left and returned a little earlier so we'll get to watch the whole process. I'm looking forward to it.

Oh I like it and thank you everyone...

Deb - Ian's mum is older in her family of 10... They are very close family but he is only that not we see often as he was chef at the Navy... he never married and live in his late mum house...

Funeral is on Wed (my day off) so Ian mum want have a small meeting on weekend because they live in England... We don't know if we are going or not...We find out on weekend what she want..

I cannot believe that today is 1 October now and we put heat on last week but the house still warm and I don't think last long as weather will be colder soon...

Yup, Shaelyn will be fine. She has to learn to keep speaking up for herself, and eventually she will.

And no, I didn't want to know how hot it is where you are. Ken had frost on her car window yesterday
