Wine was good; cupcake was yummy, so I’d say that was a win. Here now for breakfast, and it’s still eerily quiet, not that I’m complaining!
I was behind her and Nate (Paging Mr. Morrow) entering Epcot a few weeks ago. I said hello to her and told her it was my first time seeing a Disney influencer “in the wild”. She was lovely, seemed genuinely happy to have a rando say hello. Hope you have a great time!Tonight we had Ratatouille with polenta, shredded chicken & bao buns, quinoa salad, Waldorf salad, the typical charcuterie offerings. Desserts were strawberry cheesecake on a white chocolate “crust” key lime pie, cookies, & coconut macaroons.
I was excited to see Kristen from Wright Doen Main Street in the lounge tonight.
You definitely deserve a redo after all that. Sorry the trip was a bust. I hope you enjoy your next solo trip. I definitely think it's a good call to go on a weekday. I went on a weekend in September 2 years ago and early afternoons were fine but the evenings were slammed. 45-60 minute waits at some booths.I'm going to be in Orlando for a convention in mid-Nov, I'm just there to help induct someone into an honor society, so I'm working remotely during the rest of my short visit. Thinking I may stay an extra day, grab a room at WDW and hit FWF. I was originally planning to look at the Saturday night before the convention, but I think mid-week will be much more pleasant, there's much more available, and it's cheaper. I could use a redo after my last trip, and I really could use a day off from the grind.
I don't think I mentioned this, as I was focused on the GF lobby stuff, but that trip was not great, and it had nothing to do with the jackhammering. My Dsis drove me utterly, completely bat-poop insane. She is the youngest child, and she reverted to a level of annoying helplessness that made me want to scream. We're usually with her daughter, but this time it was just us, but it was absolutely horrible, we hardly made it out to do anything because she was having various dramas with the outside world... We actually had a premier pass that I asked for and got a refund on because we couldn't use it. Also, I had covered the cost of our room - outer building suite - because I knew she could use the support, and (I know, I know, you should never give something you're not willing to give with both hands) she never even thanked me. Which I was stunned by. That's not something I would ever do, and it really got to me. I hadn't seen the light of day since May, and I was so tired - I went home feeling unrested, definitively not ready to go back to 12-hour work days and unrelenting meetings, and frankly kind of taken advantage of.
Anyways, there's a BB for the deluxe CL room at BWI, which is total overkill for my solo self, but I'm thinking I'll nab it. Get there early on Wed morning, and my flight the next day won't be until evening. I should probably do MYOCL, but I don't wanna.
I will not comment on your bad experience with your sister. Family can always lead to drama.Anyways, there's a BB for the deluxe CL room at BWI, which is total overkill for my solo self, but I'm thinking I'll nab it. Never mind my initial response. This def moves WL up the list for me!!Forgot to mention that it has been pour your own wine at dinner, as well as asking for a beer (at a time other than dinner) and getting a sealed one. Important stuff.
Well, I'm a GIVER, after all!!Well you are on the wrong topic for us to talk you out of your BWI CL stay in a Deluxe room with only 1 guest. The good news is that you are helping keep the CL total Guest count down in the lounge for others, and also for you.
If you're there tomorrow morning can you see if the mimosa flight is still available?Forgot to mention that it has been pour your own wine at dinner, as well as asking for a beer (at a time other than dinner) and getting a sealed one. Important stuff.
I've had discussions with coworkers who are disney fans about this kind of stuff. You have to be careful who you let into your disney bubble because they can really bring you down!
