in my book they do. Speaking of which are there any fish and chips on the ship anywhere? I've been having a serious F&C craving and I suspect it will still be there in 2 months

he had his dose of antibotics this afternoon, so by tomorrow I'm sure he will be back to his own normal crabby self...

Well, we're home now. Left my stepbrother's house at 10:20am, got home at a few minutes before 8pm. Neither of us really mind the drive though. Tyler's a great traveler, never gets bored or tired of being in the car, never asks "Are we there yet?" or "How much longer?" or anything else like that. He's the one who hates me stopping so much. He says, "I can't believe you have to go AGAIN."

It was a short trip, but lots of fun!

Our guinea pigs were so funny when we got home! They were both standing side by side, still as rocks, staring at us as we came into the living room, even the youngest one who usually runs to hide. After I picked each one up for lots of attention, when I put them back in their cage they were running laps and JUMPING off the ground like crazy! I guess they missed us!

It's nice that Tyler likes the car rides. Mostly Molly does, but Willie is a pain about car rides. How different is the back seat to the couch I'll never understand. They get food, drinks, movies, books When I was a kid I was lucky if I got to roll the window down

When I was a kid, I was lucky if my mom would stop for bathroom breaks! She believed I just had a compulsion to see what other bathrooms looked like at different places, but I really did have to go all the time.

Hey good news I forgot to tell you...that darn doctor of mine that is making me eat fish :yes:: I have had it twice this week and I started fish oil capsules too) gave me the good news that my cholesterol dropped a TON and a half, went from 373 down to 175 on my meds Forgot that good part of the appointment. I was so bummed about having to eat the fish because my good cholesterol # is still too low. But better to have some good news in there right

Good morning.

Good news on the cholestrerol Nan. We have a different way of measuring, but it does look like it was very high before. John and I are borderline - I am slightly higher, but he has cholesterol lowering drugs and I don't I think it is because he has more factors such as his dad died of a heart attack at 58 etc. We do the whole diet thing the majority of the time - skimmed milk, much less cheese(use half fat), less red meat and more fish(tuna, salmon and oily for John), use olive oil, etc etc. Not as good on vacation though, but as we haven't too high a reading......

Had a good evening last night at our Church small group BBQ. They are a wonderful bunch - all much younger than us and all enjoy a good time. Fortunately it didn't rain!!!

Also earlier in the day we met up with some old friends and ended up going to a country pub for lunch. Pretty good day all in all!!

Don't know what we are doing today yet.

NAN - 2 things - 1st great news about the chol. nbrs (I'm on meds too & I take flax seed oil instead of fish oil)...2nd F&C - good one at Fishlips (if you can wait that long)

Nan, Ian....I watched the MJ memorial and went through a box of tissues. Me and Michael grew up together and I'm a big music lover....therefore he will always have a special place in my heart. Sorry you don't get it....but that's what makes us all unique and special.
