Oh my gosh, this must that crazy time of night for the piggies! They're going nuts again!

My yard was a battlefield today. My against nature! The front yard was easy, I got rid of all the crazy things that were growing that shouldn't be there. I won that battle. The back yard was another story! That was crazy! I had to clear out lots of stuff growing around the central air unit so that it won't do any damage when I finally turn the AC on for the summer. That took SO long, but I won that battle for now too. Hard work, but it looks much better now. I was going to wait until tomorrow, but it's supposed to storm tomorrow, so I figured I'd do it now while I can.

Um......our bad neighbors are lecturing the mom of one of dad's sons about not yelling at the kids, how yelling at them doesn't work, how he doesn't allow hitting in their house, he never screams at the kids because that's not allowed in the house, etc. Yeah........right. Could it be possible that they don't realize they scream all day at the kids?

Early night for me.....I'm headed to read in bed for a while. I hope I don't get woken up in the middle of the night by somebody screaming and swearing at a kid.

Thanks friends. I've gone through a whole box of tissues and it doesn't look like it's going to end any time soon. I have a splitting headache and my stomach is in knots. John cooked a nice barbeque with marinated steak and baked potatoes and salad. Neither one of us can eat.

You guys are the best....thank you so much. I'll take all the hugs....I need them today.

Brian is definitely with my mom....but she is cooking for him and he is eating a lot. When he's done, he'll dance with my grandmother. He knows her well and she would always make me feel better by grabbing my hand, turning up the music and dancing with me. I may be dating myself, but I used to call her my hippie granny. Her name was Athena. I know that the three of them will be there to meet me when it's my turn. Brian is in good company.

Hi All.....I got some sad new today. I just got off the phone with one of my best friends. He's the same age as me and we have been friends since we were 14 years old. You saw pictures of him at my nephew's graduation. His name is Brian and he told me he has blood and bone cancer. I'm devistated. He found out this past September and he's going for kemo treatments. He just had his 52nd birthday in October. He doesn't smoke or drink, he works out and is in good shape.......it's so unfair that this is happening to him. He's a fighter though, so he's got a good attitude and he's trying to kick it. I'm at such a loss. I'm in shock. We met in 9th grade biology class and have been best friends ever since. I'm going to pray for him everyday and send him positive thoughts and pixie dust so that this horrible disease leaves his body. I don't know what else to do?

I posted this on November 9, 2008.....I just found out today that my best friend died on March 24, 2009. I've been crying all day.

He didn't want his wife to call me. He said that I was busy with my own life and he didn't want to bother me. His wife had a very hard time during his illness and after his death. I have been calling and leaving messages but she was unable to pick up the phone and talk to me even after he passed. Today she answered and told me.

He only had six months from when he found out about his cancer until he died from it. Wow that was fast.

Brian was a friend of my whole family, mom and my brother. I called my brother today and told him and he's in denial. He called his son Tristan in the Marines, Brian was Tristan's Godfather, and Tristan is a basket case.

What a shock. At least I know he's hanging out in heaven with my mom.

Well...we had pouring rain this morning, sun, then rain,then sun, then thunderstorms, then some more sun It was warm all day though! We're supposed to have rain for the next three days, I sure hope they're wrong

Just a couple of Serenity. Brian hasn't had too much time to "clean up" after his two day road trip so wouldn't let me take his pic He is going to be getting Serenity for another day or two before he goes back home though, so I'll make sure to get some with the both of them!

Hello everyone, I'm back. The trip was amazing. I have so many pictures to share but we are headed to Knott's Berry Farm for Jon's company picnic.

The highlights:

Brooke peeled on her nose so it looked like she had freckles, which is her dream.

We saw a tarantula, scorpion, centipede and a mouse we of course named Mr. Bojangles.

The house was unbelievable. Even nicer than the pictures. Which made me sad to come home to my ugly, old, dirty house.

Ethan walked on water!!!

I can still do a back flip but my body doesn't like it much.


All in all, fun was had by all. The most important question of the trip


And what if the Hokey Poky is what it's all about!
