In case anybody is interested, KFC is giving a free piece of their new grilled chicken to everybody tomorrow. U.S. only, I believe. http://www.unthinkfc.com/
How many points? I think El Pollo Loco is probably a better option... but not sure. Is there a way to verify calories, from their menu? Just curious.
Well, I just cleaned a mess of strawberries to have with some angel food cake, grilled some skinny, boneless pork chops and made some broccoli 'slaw'. Now I get to go eat some of it! :thumbsup2

I find my medication that I take on Sunday mornings tends to dull my appetite...a good thing for the day before weigh in I guess, as I'm not likely to over indulge.
Hey sister - sounds yummy! Are you feeling better today? You said you were a little under the weather and I wanted to make sure you didn't pick up something from me!

HELLO MONICA!!!!!

HELLO MONICA!!!!!

You are going to have to yell louder than that.....she's in England getting ready to get on a cruise ship. :lmao::lmao:

I'm feeling better....a good night's sleep really helped. Don't know what was going on with the flushed/feverish feeling yesterday. Can't get sick, I have vacation in a week and a half.

Looks like 4 points for a breast, 4 for a thigh, 2 for a drumstick and 2 for a wing.

Very clever posting with sets and green-screened backdrops. If I get time later, I can superimpose myself with Paris in the the background. I'll see if I can get Eleanor Roosevelt in the photo with me too.

Amazing what they can do with Photoshop these days!

FINALLY my WW day from hell is over. I feel like I moved in there, what with being at the center at 6:45 a.m. this morning, coming home for lunch and then going BACK for training.

Fortunately, on the plus side, I picked up a little extra cash and the people were fun.

The cash is gone. I bought Sukie some mini-straightening tongs that are so small they fit into a shaving case. He now has travel sized tongs for his moustache.

:grouphug:

You turning Mexicanadian?

That happened to me once at Epcot... I was at Japan having dinner and when I came out a storm front had gone through and the temps dropped - this was back in the 90's and the only place to get a sweatshirt was the two shops at the beginning of WS...I made a run for it and I still have that sweatshirt today... :thumbsup2

Courtesy of my surgeon... my fate line now goes down to the middle of my wrist... :rotfl:

Michelle, my mom has a new fate line too! How long ago was your surgery? What a difference a few years make, now it's a tiny incision, a little camera goes in, a tiny little cut...that was the part I was worried about!

Weather story...mine was at WDW too. Hurricane Wilma :scared1: I had been there for a few days, very hot and muggy, then it began to rain, and rain, and rain. I came out from dinner at Le Cellier and went staight back to my resort. Parks were closed the next morning, but they opened MK and DD by noon. When I ventured out, it was cold! I ended up going and buying a fleece jacket for my night at the MNSSHP at MK. I had been at this party a few nights earlier in a sleeveless top until midnight, without being a bit cold!

Good morning.

Beautiful day here, but the good weather is going tomorrow and it is going to be wet, breezy with odd periods of sunshine - all week. I think I might just fly off to somewhere warmer.;)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Gee...where should you go though :confused3 eh

I feel much better having had a rest from work. Oddly enough, what really made my arm feel better was carrying groceries back home from the supermarket, using those reusable bag. It's a 5 block walk and I think it sort of stretched out the muscles.

They gave me a new chair at work and ordered a keyboard tray, which will eliminate my needing to reach to my trackball.

I think that vacation will help. No typing for a while, or at least reduced typing.

Ian, I'm glad you're feeling better. I'm really impressed that your bosses would work so quickly to improve your environment for you :thumbsup2

Plus they are easier to carry. Our targets gave us a 5 cent credit for each reusable bag we used the other day.

Hi Lisa! We were giving an incentive to use your own bags too for the last few years, but now that we have gone bagless, we aren't paying people to bring their own.

Afternoon everyone!!!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!!!!

(which is why I'm leaving... :rotfl2:)

Actually, I am headed up to Lake George... not to sightsee, but to hit the outlet stores and spend money I don't yet have. (I need sneakers badly)

Maybe I'll take my camera anyway...

Until later... :upsidedow

Hope you have had a great day Michelle! Hope you've spent lots of money and will have some great pics of Lake George to share with us too!

Kathe

of course we out here. Bubba had to go to work today for inventory, now we are going to make a Costco run and might have to do the grocery store too as we just decided that we are going to DL tomorrow. :woohoo:

I just spoke with you and you are on your way home now but I sure hope you had a great time ;)

Spring is over.

It was a very warm day here in the upper '70's.

I was outside a little while ago and it was really warm and humid. I ran out to the drugstore to pick up some stuff for the trip. It was raining, but nothing severe. They didn't have what I wanted so I decided to walk over about 6 blocks to another drugstore.

During my walk, it sudden felt like someone had turned on the air conditioning. At first there were little bursts of cold air and then WHOOSH! It sudden got rather chilly, all in the space of about 7 minutes.

I was out in just a t-shirt.

I did find what I wanted but then had about a 12 block walk home. I think it must have dropped from about 75 to 50 degrees in that space of 8 minutes or so.

It was like that here yesterday too. It was weird. Today is beautiful :goodvibes

I had been wondering what was going on to cause such a dramatic change. I asked at my 9:30 am meeting and found out. It's the weather.

The warm weather we've been having has caused people to get out their summer clothing. It has also caused them to find out that they don't fit into their clothing from last summer and so, do something about it.

:scared1: Summer clothing!!! I have two weeks to get in shape:eek:

Gaylean - welcome to the online world of WW

Today we had artichoke leaves. If any of WW posse likes them, I recommend them. It was filling and seemed fun at the same time. Now I'm wondering what to do with the hearts :cloud9:

Gaylean, good luck to Brooke, I'm sure she will have a great time! Are you going too? I can't remember what stories I've told over the last year so I hope I'm not repeating myself  I still remember the 1st camping trip my daughter Sara had with girl scouts. It was in May and I went along to help out.We only went for 2 nights, but the 2nd morning she said she was sick and I had to call her dad to come and get her.It was snowing! Of course, I had to stay to help take down tents, clean, supervise...:headache::lmao:

Kathe

The first time I had my first sleep over in GS I got the chicken pox  I think my parents were so happy to get rid of me for the night so someone else had to pick me up :rolleyes1 Thank goodness my sister was old enough to drive ;)
