Are you enjoying your new role at work? Do you miss dealing with your young pups?

Not at all. Now they're somebody else's headache, though they are not managing to rise to the demand.

My new job is good, but stressful because there are huge chunks of it that are ambiguous.

Marilyn - how long will it take you to get to Florida? is it a 9hr flight? You must be getting excited.

Yes, about a 9 hour flight. I am getting excited, but you should see the STUFF I have already got out to pack.:scared1:

Thanks! I can see we're going to have some pretty nice weather.

Indeed! One guy on another site does excellent amateur forecasts, and he still has a day of rain around the 4th May, but Accuweather dropped that last night. I can cope with a day of warm rain though.

Howdy everybody! :goodvibes Busy day, but it's almost over. Picked Tyler up from school and went straight to his old school to visit. His kindergarten teacher invited us to see the baby chicks that have hatched, and a few eggs left to hatch. Visited with the special ed teacher too. Then we went to PetSmart for some supplies, then grocery shopping again now that I have a better idea of good things to buy. I have a bag I'm going to take to work and leave there for when I need a little something to fill me up. :thumbsup2 Came home to eat supper. I STILL HAVE 9 POINTS LEFT!!!! And I never felt starved today. :cool1: Getting through the donut horror was rough and I know I'll have lots of rough food issues like that to get through, but it helps knowing I was successful once and can do it again. And I really think I can stick with this. We're headed to karate soon and when we get home I'm going to treat myself to a special treat with my leftover points!

AND RIGHT NOW WE'RE WATCHING OUR DISNEY PLANNING DVD! :dance3:

Tyler told me to say: "Tyler has a vision of dancing hippos with skirts on stuff". (Translation: hippos in ballet tutus are dancing across the TV screen in the intro to our Disney planning DVD).

Let Tyler know I danced with the prima ballerina Hippo chick in the Disneyland parade once! She was very nice, by the way! :lmao:

Barf = Vomit :sick:

Aren't ya glad you didn't know before????

He stopped at noon. Just had 1/2 peice of toast, he was on the floor and the dog chomped the rest out of his hand when he wasn't paying attention. Silly, bad dog  She(the dog) loves to eat we call her Jenny Pig, instead of Jenny Rose.

Have you started to explore any of the WW discussion boards in the sTools online community? That might also be a great source for support, tips and advice.

I find that it always takes me about 3 days to get over the allure of fat and sugar.

A tip about hunger is to stop and think about whether it's coming from your head or your stomach. If it's from your stomach you might actually be hungry. If it's from your head, you might be bored, upset or any number of things. Bored or upset, or any number of things. But you can then think about how you can find non-food ways to satisfy the need.

Some people in the bar thought I had too much fun

They were just envious ;)

Good morning.

Hope it is a good, satisfying and tasty low points day for just about everybody on this thread!!!

Good for you Holly :thumbsup2

At home on the couch with a barfing boy

Nan, hugs for both you and Wilson  Hope you're both feeling better soon.
I don't miss those days :sad2:

Yes, about a 9 hour flight. I am getting excited, but you should see the STUFF I have already got out to pack.:scared1:

 Marilyn, that 9 hr flight is scaring me way more than the 6 days at sea for the EBTA cruise!!!

But, have you seen the recipes to make your own? They look really good.

I was shocked when I started and I started looking up values, it was an eye opener when I realized what my intake had been. It wasn't even necessarily eating a lot, I just made really bad choices.

Yes, you can make a very good home made pot pie with only a top crust. It saves so many calories! I gues the fat is in the crust!

No, I haven't looked at their discussion boards yet. Still soaking up all the other info on the site. The science part is interesting and now I'm checking out the recipe section. I did read that info about hunger. I've known for a long time that I'm not usually hungry, I just want to eat because I like it or from boredom. I just have to stay busy to avoid some of that. :thumbsup2

I seem to recall a time without cables, and we had incredible and easy technology to boot!

Boy do I remember those days! I just love getting my first camera almost as exciting as learning to drive!

Good morning.

Hope it is a good, satisfying and tasty low points day for just about everybody on this thread!!!
How sweet of you! While I'm not on WW I am on a "plan" and can always use encouragement ... down about 12 pounds so far...:cloud9:

Congrats to all who are looking towards their health by making better choices - just spreading some good cheer -

BUBBA - how are you feeling?:flower3:

We cleaned out Oreo's cage today for the first time and it was super easy, nothing like I'd expected. Just dumped out the old bedding, sprayed the bottom of the cage with deodorizing/disinfecting spray, wiped it dry, and put clean bedding down. Much better than I'd expected! :thumbsup2 It's only been 3 days, but I'd rather clean it too early than have it start smelling. Even before we cleaned it, even with my face right up to the cage, I couldn't smell anything at all (and he's been pooping all over the place), so I'm not as worried about him stinking up the house anymore. He's very cute!

I think our guinea pig has gone crazy. Until today, he's been too scared to come out much. We've been taking him out to hold him and pet him often to get him used to us. This morning was the first time we heard him making any noises, he was squeaking quietly when Tyler was holding him. This evening he was coming out of his little hideout to eat while we were in front of the cage. Getting brave! But just now he came out and was RUNNING in circles and darting in and out of his little house thing, running all over and squeaking a bit! I'm thinking maybe he was just getting some exercise? Playing? Maybe he's just nuts! :rotfl2:
