it's raining again here today. Sometimes it feels like the nice weather will never come.

However, our vacation is getting very close. Cheri arrives a week from tomorrow, and I'm in a panic at work, trying to meet some deadlines and keep my projects on track.

I'm having a very hard time ignoring the box of donuts in the kitchen here at work. I've managed to stay out of there, but it's killing me knowing they're there. I'll be SO happy when they're finally all eaten and gone!

I try to think of donuts as just dough fried in LARD. and then I also remember the heartburn that donuts give me.

Well, I don't know how to calculate points of a donut, but I do know it's definitely not worth it. Just super hard to resist. Trying really hard to get it off my mind. I like your way of thinking though. Dough fried in lard sure sounds gross, so I'll focus on that. Thanks!

Donut, jelly filled, 7 points. NO THANKS! instead, I chose one of those Campbell's soup at hand drinkable cans. Chicken & stars.....only 70 calories, 1 POINT!!!! Woohoo! I defeated the donuts!

I was afraid he barfed in his bed, so I hid out last night while Paul got him settled. Fortunately Willie knows the feeling so well by now that he made it to the bathroom.

Poor guy, he is so bored. He just said "wonder what's going on at school now"

He is also missing his little league game today (which I haven't mentioned yet)

I've been here lurking, in a mood these days...

You do not need to shut up. you had a challenge and got through it. And it is never old hat to those of us who have been on program for a while. Each step taken on the journey is a cause for celebration.
