Good morning/afternoon all. Been away for 2 days. The dis was so slow it was almost going backwards, so I didn't have time to mention it before we set off.

Marilyn

I see lots of UK people had cancel the Baltic Cruise!!

My friend who is going on 12 June and she cancel it this week change over to NCL and booked the Penthouse. I got the brochure and it look so beautiful.

Monica is going soon so my friend said it is much cheaper than DCL...

Scottishwee35

I noticed that folk were cancelling. Perhaps DCL will get the message and reduce prices. The difference in their prices and the other cruise lines is just ridiculous.

Still plugging away through the old posts. :confused3 What is the "Segway tour"? If you've already answered it, I'm sure I'll find it soon.

See my profile picture on Facebook!!! You can do an Around the World Tour in Epcot. The first hour almost is training, which is fun!!! Then you go off around World Showcase before it opens and test out what you have learned. coming back to Innoventions at the end is cool as people are watching you. Probably a good thing really so we don't run into them.

Next time we are doing the off road one at Fort Wilderness.

I FINALLY called the dr today re: rage/anger issues :furious:, feeling like my blood is running/pumping thru my system, and feeling like i'm shaking. I actually added some stuff today tooo.....anxiety, stiff neck, jaw clenching. I'm waiting for a call back to see if it's because of the meds. I'm supposed to pick up a refill tonight--so don't want to shell out $85 if he's going to take me off of it.

I've also had one h e l l of a headache all day today & got very  (nauseous or however you spell it) too. Taking tylenol extra strength has done nothing for the :headache:

I'm supposed to go to a surprise party for my mgr tonight - she's retiring & her last day is tomorrow....I really want to go but will have to see what I feel like at 715pm.

*********************************************
Just heard from the Dr - I'm off 1 of my anti depressants as of NOW. If I still feel this way after I've let it get out of my system then I have to go back in to see him

Let us know how you get on Monica. Must have felt terrible!!:sad2:

Well, Chuck got tied up at work and was a few minutes late for our appointment, and he walked in just as the doctor was telling me different options for increasing one of Tyler's meds. Chuck asked why we'd need to increase them when he was under the understanding that we would be trying to take him off them when he starts doing well. Dr. told him that since things aren't going too well for Tyler in school, based on what the teachers have reported, he feels it would bring his anxiety back down, as well as the impulsiveness and aggression. Then Chuck complained that he was completely in the dark about this and assumed that no news was good news. The doctor told him, "Hey, it's up to you two to stay in communication about that" and my response was that I just assumed he'd be contacting the school to see how things are going just like I do.

So the doctor suggested I copy Chuck on all my updates that I send him, and he gave Chuck all the ones I'd sent. He's got quite a stack to read!

So he didn't get too angry, and we're increasing Tyler's dose starting tomorrow. The Dr. says if this new dose stops working after a while, instead of continuing to increase it, he'd like to try to get rid of the other med and replace it with an anti-depressant.

So we wait and see what happens with the higher dose for now. :thumbsup2

Maybe Tyler's dad will start being more proactive now!!! Hope you see improvement with the increase in doseage.

Soon I'm off for the weekend at Seascape with mom, sister, molly, cousin (coming in from Redding Ca) and then a group for dinner on Saturday night and back to peace and quiet for the remainder...I plan on reading, watching movies, watching tv, hot tubbing and ::yes:: scrapbooking, okay and :drinking: The one thing I'm really looking forward to is a bonfire spread put on by the resort complete with smores on Saturday night :) oh ya and massages tonight in our room ahhhhh :cloud9: I'm taking my laptop so I'll check in and say hi :flower3:

Marilyn,

I couldn't agree with you more. Disney will eventually learn that people are not willing to pay quite such a premium for "pixie dust."

The leisure market has been hit very hard by the economic conditions, and the cruise industry is really taking a battering.

DCL does not have the leeway like the parks/resorts do in offering free dining and free days. DCL in a time like this can only compete on price with comparable cruise lines in their class.

Somehow I just can't picture you as the scrapebooking type.

We were booked in a Cat 6 on the Baltic cruise(2 adults) . $11,500 or thereabouts for 12 nights. How frightening is that?:scared1:

NCL you can have a penthouse suite, gratuities included for around $6,500 for a similar cruise on the same day. Princess line was the similar.

I don't know what DCL can do as they can hardly cancel the whole summer schedule for next year.

Wow, Marilyn, those prices you've got for the Baltics are ridiculously different. One day I want to try another cruise line for comparison, but I don't know when.

We will eventually try another line in a similar class. It turns out we like cruising, however, I don't like the DCL prices.

The main reasons for our booking the Transatlantic in a year was the fact that we thought it was cool, and the price was so cheap for a 14-night. Under 1K per person for an inside cabin.

We seriously looked at booking the WD TA because it was cheap, but the flight costs for all 4 of us scared me off. We'll keep watching it, and may decide to go for it when it gets closer.

There was a defect in DCL's system that caused it to underquote the airfare when I booked. As a result, we got the cruise for under 2K for both of us, and a ridiculously low price on the one way fare from Chicago to Orlando and Barcelona to Chicago.

DCL had to honor the fare they quoted. It went up quite a bit once they fixed the bug.

WOW, I'm the first one here! :goodvibes I got to work a few minutes early and just wanted to say.....

GOOD MORNING EVERYBODY!

:goodvibes:flower3::grouphug::flower3::goodvibes

Morning Holly... :goodvibes

Welcome to Friday!
Your Gateway to the Weekend!

I am working at home today. I have to take Mrs. Fezziwig to the Smart dealer for her 1 year checkup. Yes, she is 1 year old, on April 5th.

She needs her annual oil change and a checkup.

I also have a WW training session at 5PM, followed by a WW staff meeting (yuck). I won't get home tonight until about 9:30 or 10:00 PM.

.

Ohhhh she's growing so fast... it was just like yesterday that you were going to pick her up... :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Good Morning All.....Leaving soon for another wound doctor appointment.....I've already started taking the vicodin. Guess I'll be out of it for a few days when I get back....pain and pain meds that get me sick. I love it.

Just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful weekend filled with hope and love and joy.

:love::love::love:

May hugs Deb... feel better...

Nan, that sounds like such a wonderful weekend! I definitely need to try to do something like that sometime! A relaxing weekend sounds sooooooooo nice! :cloud9:

I know it just FLOORED Ian over on Facebook...

Jumpin Jacks did indeed make it on the news yesterday...

http://www.dailygazette.com/news/2009/mar/27/0327_jumpin/

Scroll down to the video section - and click on the Jumpin Jacks video...

And no... I didn't make it for dinner last night... it was pouring rain by the time we left and since today is friday and I can't eat meat... we are saving it for later in the week...

Michelle, those onion rings in the video looked yummy!
I couldn't find the video. :sad1: I clicked on the link at the top that says "video" and looked at the first few pages of videos with no luck, and I scroll down there's a scrolling list of videos, but I didn't see it there either. :sad1:

Oh well......headed out to get some BEER! Probably no late night chatting for me though, I'm super tired. And I'm going to try my hardest to start cleaning. Our house is a disaster. I've been trying for about a month to get motivated to start cleaning but I guess I've been too lazy. I feel a tiny bit of motivation today, so I'm going to at least start! :thumbsup2

go down to the videos... and click to see the second page - yellow bar... and you should see it there... they must have updated with tonight's news videos.
Oh, I found it. I didn't realize you had two links on there, I only saw the first one. Duh!!!! Got it now! :thumbsup2

All I can say is, that's just crazy! I'd never wait in a line that long for food!
