Bubba... it's a drive in... I'm not sure if in the beginning they may have had car hops...it's not that way anymore. You go up and order just like you saw the guy do in the video and you had better know what your having or else you have everyone behind you ready to order and they're likely to step right on and order...
It's on the Mohawk River... aka the Erie Canal... and it's across from our Town Park... Collins Park. In Freedom Park (which is the part ON the river) there is a concert shed and Jacks is right on the river so you just go and sit on the riverbanks and watch the US ski team who perform on Tuesday nights

I wonder why not??? Molly scrapped tonight, I just watched MamaMia...after my massage, which was after my hot long shower, which was after my hot tub, which was after dinner at Sanderlings at sunset which was grilled artichoke and prawn cocktail, followed by birthday vanilla creme brulee (which I shared with all since we had to get back to our rooms for our massages) oh yea, there was wine in there too of course

Nan, that sounds like such a wonderful weekend! I definitely need to try to do something like that sometime! A relaxing weekend sounds sooooooooo nice!
Shaelyn was on spring break for last week, and so only ended up missing 3 days of school from this week. Weather was hot in day, cool in evening. We all wore either light jacket or sweatshirt. We did get rain on our last morning, but that was okay, because it kept the crowds away, and the sun came back for the last few hours we had.Shaelyn was happy to be going back to school and Kaleigh was happy to go back to daycare. They both are ready to see their friends again.
I'm happy that my cold isn't completely miserable, and work is quiet (we are at the last few days of a 2 week shutdown, so I can do a bit of dis'ing and then get some more paperwork down)
Now I'm back reading old threads. I'm jealous that you are already doing the spring yard work. We still have snow, but quite a bit melted while we were gone. Hopefully we don't get anymore.
And the new sausage with peppers sounds good!
