I just found this quote from right before the cruise
"She is right down the hall from me Ding Dong Ditch everyone on floor 6."

I think that was referring to Marilyn

OK, here's a photo for the evening (before I check-out for a while)
Tallulah Behind Bars
(I'm surprised she isn't rattling a tin cup across the bars)

Hi Deborah....it's good to talk to you again too.
Good for you getting your scrapbooking done.
John has to work tomorrow too. Yeah, I bet the kids are so happy to have a week off of school. What will they do during the day???
His Selfness and I went for a walk about town this afternoon. It's funny, because I work down in the Loop, but basically only walk from the bus to the office and the office to the train.
It was sunny and about 35F today. I also tried out geotagging photos.
Here are a couple I took today.

This Shocked Me. It was new to me. A sculpture of American Gothic (Which is hanging in the Art Institute, our art museum)

What if you made it with Splenda? Would that decrease the point value even more? I thought about trying it that way, but I haven't made it again.
Don't worry, sweetie. Aunt Cheri won't mistreat you like that!![]()

Deb - I'll have to look for it this evening or later in the week, so you might have to bug me a bit.
Yup, that's what I'd do if needed. But Tyler started picking out his outfits and dressing himself when he was 2, so it's never been a problem.Give her what shes supposed to wear and thats that. Other wise she goes in her pj's.
It doesn't look bad on you if her clothes don't match because all parents know that kids want to wear whatever they want and it's not worth the stress. I often let Tyler wear the same outfit if he wants to 3 days in a row. He'll reach a point where he'll know to be embarrassed about wearing the same thing again, so it's no big deal. There are more important things to worry about and if you let them feel they have a bit of power, it will help reduce arguing over all.The other thing is that I'm a matcher and she wants to wear things that don't match and I think it looks bad on me. She also says she wants to wear the same thing everyday but when I've let her she doesn't like things after awhile. She is just really hard to shop for. When she gets home from school she puts on the same thing. It is weird. Jon says I should be happy that she fights about these things but I wonder if this is the beginning of something bad. My mom said my sister wouldn't wear anything but dresses and now she won't wear them and hates it.

I don't think he was calmed down, but at least they can handle him and not have me leave work. The physical restraint part, in the padded room, just makes me feel sad for him.I'm sorry Holly. It's so good that you have him in an environment where he can be "handled". It's is great they just called you to talk him down and not to come get him
Don't stress over it the rest of the day. This is where they can help him. I hope that Chuck(dad) can also get this info and absorb it.
It will still be a long road for Tyler, but now he is on the path that can lead him to sucess.
Yes, much better to just talk on the phone instead of picking him up. He was worried about that though. He was afraid I'd have to pick him up and he didn't want me to be mad about that.Holly, sorry to hear Tyler is having a bad spell.
Nan said some good things there. Just think if he had been at his old school you would have had to go collect him. This place had him phone you, at his request, to help him.
