I just found this quote from right before the cruise

"She is right down the hall from me Ding Dong Ditch everyone on floor 6."

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I think that was referring to Marilyn :sad1:

I see my name, now I must go and look it up!:headache:

Ian

Just a short note to ask you, do you remember what name of design which you gave on Panama Cruise for tee shirts... I ordered it for kids...

As my computer crashed down last year and wipe out....

I do appreciate if you give me the name

thank you

OK, here's a photo for the evening (before I check-out for a while)

another story of the cage...

Hi my ex sister in law put puppy in the cage while two daughters and herself went to work then came home discovered that Puppy Marly broke her paws (finger) end up at vet with huge bandage... my brother girlfriend against the cage.. she said she wont put two puppies in the cage... (no wonder two puppies are getting bigger now)...

Hi Deborah....it's good to talk to you again too.

Good for you getting your scrapbooking done.

John has to work tomorrow too. Yeah, I bet the kids are so happy to have a week off of school. What will they do during the day???

His Selfness and I went for a walk about town this afternoon. It's funny, because I work down in the Loop, but basically only walk from the bus to the office and the office to the train.

It was sunny and about 35F today. I also tried out geotagging photos.

Here are a couple I took today.

This Shocked Me. It was new to me. A sculpture of American Gothic (Which is hanging in the Art Institute, our art museum)

What if you made it with Splenda? Would that decrease the point value even more? I thought about trying it that way, but I haven't made it again.

I can't remember the amount of sugar, but it would knock out some points.

Don't worry, sweetie. Aunt Cheri won't mistreat you like that!;)

See, it's working. She's already practicing mind control on you.

Deb - I'll have to look for it this evening or later in the week, so you might have to bug me a bit.

Remeber u showed me that you make your design with Mickey Mouse in Panama Tee shirt...

I made my own design for kids for Panama Cruise as Keith's tee shirt is brilliant... still wear it and very good conditions...

I want to design for next year....

what the firm called?

I try to think and had been looking kids teeshirt which I ordered it but no names there...

anyone remember it?

Give her what shes supposed to wear and thats that. Other wise she goes in her pj's.
Yup, that's what I'd do if needed. But Tyler started picking out his outfits and dressing himself when he was 2, so it's never been a problem.

The other thing is that I'm a matcher and she wants to wear things that don't match and I think it looks bad on me. She also says she wants to wear the same thing everyday but when I've let her she doesn't like things after awhile. She is just really hard to shop for. When she gets home from school she puts on the same thing. It is weird. Jon says I should be happy that she fights about these things but I wonder if this is the beginning of something bad. My mom said my sister wouldn't wear anything but dresses and now she won't wear them and hates it.
It doesn't look bad on you if her clothes don't match because all parents know that kids want to wear whatever they want and it's not worth the stress. I often let Tyler wear the same outfit if he wants to 3 days in a row. He'll reach a point where he'll know to be embarrassed about wearing the same thing again, so it's no big deal. There are more important things to worry about and if you let them feel they have a bit of power, it will help reduce arguing over all. :thumbsup2

Our twin grandaughters wear some strange combinations and clothes as they choose what they wear themselves.

Molly has always worn her clothes to a beat of a different drummer. It keeps her happy, don't sweat the little stuff ;)

and that boy wears flip flops with his tux too.

OMG I saw the most adorable shorts and hoddie at target I wanted to get for Wilson for the TA, but since it's a year + away I help off, but I might go back and get them. It's not everyday you find good stuff for boys. ::yes::

NOT a good month for Tyler. It seems his occupational therapist was correct when she told me he’ll have sort of a “honeymoon” period for about the first month before his issues come back full force. :sad2:

The first week of February, there was a day he was angry about something, and was throwing chairs, so he had to go to the time-out room. He cleaned up the mess when he came out, and repeated 3 or 4 more times. :sad2:

The following week (last week), he was in the time out room lots of times for something and he punched his aide when she was in there trying to calm him down. :sad2:

Then today the special ed teacher called me because Tyler thought he’d calm down easier if he talked to me. Apparently he’s been very aggressive and violent today, the worst they’ve seen him at the new school, and he had to be physically restrained multiple times for his own safety and safety of others. At some point in the time out room, he ripped the buttons off his shirt (because there’s nothing else in there, just padded walls and a shatterproof window) in anger and he was crying uncontrollably about the shirt because it’s one of his favorite camo flannel shirts. So that’s when the teacher called me. I reminded him that he has an identical shirt at home.

He’s been doing these things all along, it’s just that they’re building up to the same frequency and intensity as before, so the teachers are a bit shocked. Little do they know, they haven’t seen anything yet. Well, I’m sure they know, it’s their job.

I'm sorry Holly. It's so good that you have him in an environment where he can be "handled". It's is great they just called you to talk him down and not to come get him

Don't stress over it the rest of the day. This is where they can help him. I hope that Chuck(dad) can also get this info and absorb it.

It will still be a long road for Tyler, but now he is on the path that can lead him to sucess.

Holly, sorry to hear Tyler is having a bad spell.

Nan said some good things there. Just think if he had been at his old school you would have had to go collect him. This place had him phone you, at his request, to help him.

I don't think he was calmed down, but at least they can handle him and not have me leave work. The physical restraint part, in the padded room, just makes me feel sad for him.

Yup, I'll share this info with his dad, but am dreading that. His response will be, "I wonder why he's doing this?" Because he thinks it all went away. I hate having to deal with his denial, but I guess I should be used to it by now.

Yes, much better to just talk on the phone instead of picking him up. He was worried about that though. He was afraid I'd have to pick him up and he didn't want me to be mad about that. :guilty:

Thanks Marilyn and Nan, I guess I just needed some encouraging words to stop myself from worrying all day and getting stressed out over it all.
