DEB: Can you sleep at night on your tummy to increase prone time? Or prop your heels on pillows so your legs are higher than your heart even when sleeping on your back but no pillows under the wounds?
Jan, sorry to say but I don't have a sleep pattern like anyone you know. Mine is more like Michelle's and even then I don't lay down for long. I'm constantly awake/asleep through the night....up and down....24/7. The longest time that I have laid down for is 1 1/2 hrs. I'm just not comfortable enough to stay in this position for any longer. It begins to get very painful. I have to sit up with a lower back pillow for support to be comfortable. Many times I fall asleep this way too....hence the circulation problems....especially with my weight. Which is the next hurdle for me to conquer. It really is affecting my health. I'm working on it.
