I just can't believe that I still have so much stuff, I gave so much of it to my son when he moved out west last year And the clothes are the worst!!! It's like I don't want to accept that I'll never again fit in them again , and even if I did they are so out of style and yes I know styles have a way of coming back...but not likely with mine

When I took Bobby out for a walk at 2:00 this afternoon, it was 92º at my house. About an hour later, I had a really nice summer monsoon thunderstorm and rain! Yea!!! This is earlier than usual for the monsoons to start, but I couldn't be happier. This evening when I took her out for her nighttime walk it was 62º! Now that's more like it!!!

Orange County California is forgiven.

I sent an email to the webmaster for the county Recorder's office and to my surprise received a reply back, advising me that September will be available for online appointments in the next few days.

Now that's twice I have been in communication with governments, Ontario in Thunder Bay and Orange County.

I'm beginning to wonder if I might receive a phone call from Cook County here in Illinois (the county Chicago is in) and Springfield Illinois telling me that they're feelings are hurt because they never here from me.

That's good news Ian, glad to hear Sept will be available after all

Well, I'm feeling pretty helpless in all of this crap, but he's happy to have me for some reason. He told me yesterday that he's so glad he's my son and that I'm the best mom in the world. It's so strange how a kid with such a tender heart can be so violent at times.

I SO miss the Disney stores here. Tyler and I went last year and you should have seen the look on his face when we went around the corner in the mall and there was NO store anymore. Just a closed gate. It used to be one of our favorite places to just go look around.

How do I use a gift card and not have it charge it to my credit card? I have a cc on file to make things easier, but it never gives me a place to put in my GC number and just wants to charge my purchase. Any ideas? Do I just need to delete my CC info and then re-add it later after the GC is gone?

It's really easy... just scratch off the grey area on the back of the card... go into itunes just like normal and on the right side there is a box and it will say redeem... click on that and it will tell you what to do. Good luck!!!

They did.....on the first night around 11pm. I have pics and I think Jan did too. I don't have this computer right now but the others were better. It was really dark so all you could see was the lights on the stacks.
