My concern is with the weather. I want it to be hot and affordable of course!

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

We loved the TA cruise and would do it again!

It was the weather on the crossing you had that would put me off.

Don't you realize Marilyn and John are coming to Alaska too? ;)

Oops! Plans ruined Gaylean.:rotfl:

That sounds great. Someone told me about one that was 11 days and had 9 ports. That would be hard. I have a friend going on a 7 day next month and she thinks she is going to stay out at the ports until she has to come back. I thought that too but always wanted to come back on the ship early.

I think the Med cruises following the Transatlantic were like that. 10 or 11 days, almost all ports.

I know but you'll be dragging her too. She wants to be hot like me :lmao:

I could never be hot like you Gaylean!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Lets here the story!

Things are a lot different even since Jon and I got married. He told me the other day "Do you remember when we would put $10.00 in the gas tank and we had to go inside to get change". Plus we didn't have to pay for cell phones or internet and I think all of our utilities were like $200.00 a month. Now it's like $1000.00. And don't get me started on how much it costs to fill up the gas tank now :badpc:

It is frightening isn't it? Our first house in 1969 when we got married was about £4,000 - that is at todays rates under $8,000. I can't work out all the maths about exchange rates then versus now etc! Now it would probably sell for around £185,000 - ($370,000), and it is only a small box on a not very desirable estate. John earned £365(under $730) per year as a newly qualified teacher. It is so long ago I can't remember what things cost!!!:rotfl2: We had nothing much in the house!!

We had that plan too....then 6 years later we had our son. ;)

I know and we don't have it taken care of yet so I know nothing is set in stone. I just can't seem to make it official, even though I know I don't want anymore.

Think of it this way, maybe they can Mickey to drag us on the ship :lmao: What a sight that would be.

All we had was other people's junk in our first place! We were renting and it was $500.00 a month.

So we're up to 5 weeks now......better go stock up on enough mac and cheese for 2 years! Gotta save some money....

I hear that. It will be a good diet plan. We'll just skip a lot of meals!

Well, from the trip reports etc I thought it was very rough and even the CM's were suffering.

The WB was ok though.

The water was rough but it didn't bother us. And because of the time of year and the $ for flights the ship was not nearly full. We loved it!

I would love to have a ship that wasn't that crowded, even though it didn't seem to be an issue on our cruise. I was happy that there weren't as many kids.
