Way Early I know but anyone going on Eastern May 1-8 2004?

What a beautiful sight ... Heidi and Ryan's counter is finally down to 0

Yippppeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! Is everyone else as excited as i am????? Can't wait til we all meet on board!

And Jeff, i am struggling with the same dilemma ... everything is ready to be packed, just haven't done the actual packing.

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

OH, and Tom ..... school girl pictures are locked in the vault ... never to be seen ... umm .... i mean ... there are no school girl pictures .... :o

BOWTIE JOE WHERE ARE YOU????

Joey? Where are ye Joe?

Arrrr Maties.... wow, don't check in for a few hours and everyone is looking for you.

I was out swashbuckling with the softball team at our local pub. :drinking1 Got home a bit late to check in. And now will have to nurse the hangover at work.:badpc:

But, I am now warmed up and primed for our adventures at sea. :boat:

Either your with us, or MONKEYBOY and myself will have to make you walk the plank.

I am most definitely with you. pirate:

As for the school girl outfit, I have been busted by the wench when attempting to so. May have to bring hard copies to post around the ship.

Who dares do the upside down kamakazi with me? Shall we at say 3:30 before the life boat drill by the Goofy pool. :drinking1

See everyone soon

No I am not packed yet. Yes we are leaving at 7:30 am tomorrow. Yea, I have to go to work today in 20 minutes. Didn't I have enough notice tou ask? You see last night I needed to get my nails done and the last of the 10 session tan package. I'm still white as a ghost. Then I was too lazy and rationalized that my clothes would get wrinkled. What was I thinking?????

Airplane/ flying panic is setting in. I need a drink and it is only 7:30 am!!!!

We won't make the POR meet as we'll be dining at Ohana. See you all at the goofy pool on Sat.

Thanks for the pre cruise chatter. It's been great:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

:wave2: See ya all soon

Jeff, a little tip from the mommy of 2 little princesses....packing is WAY easy if you do all her laundry and put it away first. I try to pack from the laundry basket and it is such a pain because I always forget something.

The girls like to watch Noggin in the basement and for some reason they take their socks off down there. I went down last night(after swearing there was a sock eating monster in my washing machine), there were like 20 pairs of white little girls socks stuffed in various crevices in the couch....

To everyone leaving today~ have a blast and a safe trip. Heidi and anyone else attending the meet at the POR, have fun. Save some brain cells for the boat:D

I said a few days back that I was packed but things mysteriously jumped out of the suitcase during the week(new sandals, party dresses....) and now I am almost back to square 1 with the girls. I guess I should follow my own advice.

Have a greatday.
:wave2:

Joe, it is nice to see that you are getting warmed up for the cruise, I myself have been eating 5 meals a day plus snacks with an occasional session of binge drinking. The training has been brutal, but the reward will be great. I haven't done an upside down kamakazi in quite a while, probably the last time was when I did an upside down keg stand also in the same night.

Just remember the more you are absent from the precruise activities you will be expected to make up for it on the cruise, you will be held to a higher level than the rest of us. :groom: :drinking: :drinking1 BTW I had heard that a good bottle of wine sometimes work for KEYS TO THE VAULT, good luck with that.

JenLyn, you will need to start playing nice or face punishment from the PIRATES of the SS Mickeyboat.pirate: pirate:

Pango, this guy amazes me, I had to call and ask "Is that another reference from a Buffet song?" PANGO you rock, Swimming with the Jellies, DUDE noggin. BTW Pango's wife being high maintenance, I wouldn't really go that far, just because she has a salon named after her and they close down when she is out of town, is that really high maintenance? I do have to say "She looks Marvelous".

Heidi, I have heard that a good way to calm your nerves about flying, is to join a club that they have, it sooths, relaxing and refreshes. I think it is called the Mile something, I am not sure but you might want to check into it.

Monkeyboy, I did my best you are on your own, good luck and never forget MONKEYBOY GET ME A DRINK DAMNIT!!!! pirate: pirate: pirate:

Queen, what do you say we get in the car after the soccer game tonight and lets start a day early.

:wave2: :wave2:

How is it that a 5 year old girl suitcase needs twice that of a grown man? Never mind, answered my own question... girl

I need a bathing suit and dinner clothes. She needs an outfit for every hour of the day

I'd get the same problem, Jen... probably why I wait til the last minute to pack.

Ah well, back to pretending to work:rolleyes1

Already on vacation in my mind...

Jeff

I definitely second the Already on Vacation In My Mind...sounds like in ought to be a song title. And I have to go to work 3 more times.

Jeff--

Oh, it's still wwwwwaaaaaaayyyyyyy early to start packing. We have plenty of time!

Everyone--

I've already called Port Orleans to give them a warnini..... er, heads-up, about Heidi and Ryan. The individual that I spoke with at Guest Services was very nice and said that the manager of the resort had already flagged their reservation. They were currently in the process of securing all liquor on property, installing additional security cameras, and placing those little plastic plugs in all of the electrical outlets.... :teeth:

Hey everyone, I just talked to my queen again (Julie) and told her that I am seriously considering leaving tonight instead of tommorrow afternoon. I will have to check for availability somewhere on Disney property or at one of the Vacation Clubs, but with everyone else talking about going I think it will happen.

It is cold and rainy here today and after the snow yesterday, and the lack of speed with our countdown clock, I think it is just something that we have to do. How about a Poll if you could leave tonight instead of when you have originally scheduled, would you or would you not?

Jeff, get packed up and lets move on out, and you think your five year old has a lot of luggage you ought to see an eight, five and two year old girls luggage to go along with the Queens.

Tom--

I called Disney Reservations last night to see what kind of prices I could get on rooms with my Annual Pass. They still had rooms available at Port Orleans. At Riverside they had Standard ($83.00) and Waterview ($99.00) and at French Quarter they had Waterview ($99). The prices reflect the Annual Passholder discount but the prices may still be good even without the discount. Just an FYI.

I'm sure they have availability elsewhere on property too. It's amazing but at some times during the year they are actually booked solid. Disney owns and operates 33,000 rooms at Walt Disney World (this number doesn't reflect the Downtown Disney hotels that are independently owned and operated for which Disney just gets a slice of the pie) so that is quite a feat!

The last time we stayed on property, in early December, we tried to get a room forever and finally wound up with a Standard room at the Caribbean Beach Resort. And, of all things, they has a watercolor of the Disney Magic on the wall.

Good luck with the rooms!

Jason

PANIC PANIC PANIC

I must be crazy because I am actually considering leaving tonight after soccer, baths & tanning! I feel like I have SO MUCH left to do...I know that I said last night that I was nearly finished packing, but I just don't know if I am or not! The "to do" list still seems like it has a million things on it to get done!

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diaphragmatic breathing is the key, Julie!

Place your right hand just over your diaphragm. Using your diaphragm (as opposed to your chest) breath in through the mouth, hold for four seconds, out through the nose. Repeat until the suitcases are packed.

How is it that a 5 year old girl suitcase needs twice that of a grown man?

ummm.. cause a grown man only needs a bow tie. :cool1:

Came into work today in a great mood (all be it hung over), but I have 2 more days of this $^% :badpc: before I am boozin :drinking1 while crusin :boat: pirate:

:jumping1:

Tom - My pre cruise training has taken me to new heights. I am fully prepared to empty every bottle, keg, jug etc on board. Oh and I guess I try to squeeze some of that food stuff in as well. I heard it's quit good on the ship.

:mickeybar :drinking1 :mickeybar :drinking1 :mickeybar :drinking1

hmmm... wonder if I could finagle leaving tomorrow morning instead. :scratchin

Can't wait to see everyone on boared :grouphug:

Uh, Tommy, if you could have water or beer which would you choose?

And Queen Julie, if you forget an outfit you can just counter that day by going to Orient beach, you'll fit right in ;)

You're getting on my nerves, Jason.
I've already called Port Orleans to give them a warnini...
IF they lock up the pirates' treasure, there will be h3ll to pay... It's a small ship, buddy.

Did someone mention a club??? Heidi likes going to clubs..... Need to convince her to join another.

And Joe, I'll take any kind of shooter any time any place..
