Could someone please tell me how the warterparks are in November? I saw on one post where a family was there last week and said the water was not heated. Is this true? I just wonder if it will be to cold.

Th ewater at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon IS heated.

We have BB in November previously, and will probably do so this year as well, and enjoyed ourselves.

We've been in November, December and January. We would have gone in February, but we haven't been in February yet.

The water is heated, but on a cool day, don't know if that helps much. We're heading down November 9th and have Typhoon Lagoon planned for one afternoon, but we're going to play it by ear. A warm sunny day and we'll go....cooler and grayer, we'll stay away.
Would like to hear from other veterans out there.....I realize that November is a slow time, but with Blizzard Beach closed for renovations, any ideas how crowded Typhoon Lagoon might be? Even though it's a slow time of year, with one of the parks closed, part of me thinks TL will get crowded enough to close by noon or so. Anyone....????
Thanks!

Deb & Bill: Do you remember about what the temp's were when you have gone? And how was it? You didnt freeze?

We really want to go in Dec!! But my DH is a wimp when it comes to cold water!!

We were there last week and the water was a bit chilly for my taste, but I guess is was heated since it was slightly warmer than the air. It was warm enough to have fun and enjoy it for a while. I live in hot TX and usually swim when the water is above 85.

If the air temp is above 70 and the sun is shining we will go to the waterparks. They will be empty of Floridians and full of us Northerners. :)

We've been to WDW in early December and early January, and every time there has been at least one day warm enough to comfortably enjoy the water parks - we had days in 70's and 80's. In early November there can easily be temps in the 80's. Just try to keep your schedule flexible so that you can take advantage of the best day for a water park.

The worst part is between the water and your towel or coverup. Once you get covered back up, you'll be fine. We have had some very warm days and some not so warm days. On the not so warm days, I stayed covered up on a chair reading a book while my son and husband and various niece or the guest were in the water. The best part? It's not so crowded.

We were at TL last November during Vet's Day week, I can't remember which day. BB was closed. We Ended up going on a cooler day, a little overcast, and there were no crowds at all. No lines. I think the weather that day helped keep the crowds down, actually, because the rest of the world was very busy that week. The water was heated and my kids had to be dragged out of there at closing, but we're from Mass. It was a little cold for me to stay in the water all day, but it was worth it for the low crowds.

As several other have said you should have no problem in Nov

Here is is Nov 1 yesterdays high was 86. Heck I thought about going and jumping in the pool. The crowds should be small and you should have lots of fun.

Just spoke with a meterologist friend of mine who's been watching Orlando weather for me. Says this coming Saturday, the 6th, a cool front moves into the area...highs in mid-to-upper 70's. Later in the week, temps go back up into the 80's.
We don't mind it cool....see you all in the wave pool!
