Watermice?

I was thinking of renting these next week but I have a couple of questions. I am staying at POP so I would need to go to another resort. How are the boats at WL? I have read reports of them not going very fast. How do they compare to a jetski? I am assuming you would wear a bathing suit? Would an hour be enough time? Thanks!

They don't go near as fast as a jet ski. We love them. It's a nice way to spend 30 minutes.

You don't need to wear a bathing suit to go on a watermouse. You won't get wet. DH takes these out all the time and he says the fastest ones are the ones from Cont/GF/Poly/WL. You also have alot of open space in that lake.

we did this on our last trip and everyone loved it - we went from the Poly - you dont get wet and while they dont go really fast - they still feel pretty fast!

Don't rent one from POR or DTD. They are painfully slow. Go to one of the bay lake resorts (Poly, WL, GF, Cont) and rent one there. They are much faster.

Are the hours and prices for rental available online? This would be a great surprise for DH. Very glad for the advice about renting at DTD, as that probably would have been where I would have gone first! Thanks for any advice.

FYI, you must have a valid driver's license to rent at any of the Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake Resorts because they have larger engines. But, for the kids (13 and over) you can rent at any of the other resorts.
