I have never been to a water park except River Country as a kid and I would like to do one next trip. Which do you prefer and why?

I like TL because of the lazy river and the wave pool. It's a bigger wave pool than BB with way bigger waves. If you are a slide fiend, you will want to go to BB. The biggest and baddest slides are at BB. BB also has a lazy river, but you have to float through the dripping ICE water. TL has dripping water, but it just doesn't seem as cold. Also TL has the shark reef where you can swim with fish including small sharks. (Actually, you just float across the top of the water from one side to the other).

It all really depends on what you are looking for in a water park. THere are plusses and minuses for each one. We have been to both and prefer BB. My kids were 7 and 4 on our first trip and 8 and 5 on the one last summer when we did TL and BB. We found that there was more for all of us at BB. The lazy river and wave pool does not compare to TL. Hands down TL is better for those two. BB also does not have a lot of shade. So if you really want to just hang around and relax it would be in full strength of the sun. TL does have a shark reef--we did enjoy that. As for as slides and reaft rides BB is the best. We all found things that we liked--had a great pre-teen area for the kids to play in. LIke I said--it was out fav. They are both fun parks--it just depends on what you are looking for.
