Was listening to the show from a few days ago and they were talking about a water bottle that keeps drinks cold for 24 hours.. Anyone know any more details, such as where they can be purchased?

If you look through a couple of pages of threads, you'll find another thread or two on it.

I found them on amazon for a few bucks cheaper than the hydroflask website...I am ordering one today:goodvibes

For those who have already bought... do you have any advice about size? Are you glad with the size you bought or do you wish you had purchased the bigger or smaller one? I have to order online as there are no stores that sell in my state... so I can't get a good perspective on size and weight.

I usually use a Nalgene and hook it around my purse strap (a VB hipster)- with the loop on the lid of the Hydroflask, if I added a carabiner, do you think it would attach to my purse?

I got the smaller one, and I'm glad that I did. It weighs a little more than my Sigg bottle, which I assume is from the stainless steel vs the aluminum. I really like the insulation on the Hydro-Flask - It doesn't sweat!

Disney came out with something similar. They have a new product called Pook-a-loos. They are pretty much flattened stuffed animals. Anyway, back to my point. Disney came out with aluminum bottles with pictures of all of their pook-A-loos that they have. I bought one, but have yet to test it to see if it lives up to the hydro bottle standards. I will try to remember to post my review of the Disney bottles. By the way the Disney version of the bottle is $15.

I am wondering if I should buy it to arrive at my room for the start of my Disney trip.

How heavy are they? Do I go for an 18oz or 24oz? Did you receive yours in good time after you bought it? Is it easy to drink out of? Do you need to buy the lid too?

I recently bought a bottle to use at Uni, since I hate throwing away the bottled water bottles. I literally used it 3 times before it began to leak in my bag (all over some of my work I may add). It hadn't got a great lid which made it not have a perfect seal. This is a hiking flask for goodness sakes! If I am spending a lot of money on one, it better be good!

we have the 18 oz and find it to be a great size.

I would think the larger would be great for two people, but just a bit too big to carry just for one person.

The flask comes with the standard loop top. If you want the sports top...you have to purchase it additionally.

I have had no trouble with leaking. I dont know how to describe the top other than to say that it takes several turns to tighten the cap all the way, which makes for a great seal.

The other nice thing is that the mouth of the bottle is wide enough to allow you to add ice. We have an automatic ice maker which makes little half moon shaped ice and it fits perfectly. If you are using an old school ice cube tray...they probably wont fit.

I think the bottle is quite easy to drink from....adds no taste to what you are drinking and to repeat what someone else said....it doesnt sweat at all.

I think it's worth the money.

Hope that helps.

I am thinking of doing this for our trip. Given that there are 5 off use I thought I might go for one of each size. We could always get another one if we think we need it :)
