I was just wondering if you are allowed to take water bottles into the parks. I know they let you bring in bottles from the hotels, but what about other brands...like a Dasani bottle?

You can bring in any brand of water with no problem.

Water bottles are fine as long as they are plastic.

Thanks for the info! I was actually planning on taking a couple of big jugs of water that I could refill the smaller bottles with each day, so I just wanted to make sure I could take them in. Thanks again!!

But, if you try to take it on the Mummy, they'll say you have to throw it away. Same with the houses at HHN. If your water bottle will fit in your pocket, and you can sit comfortably, then put it there and keep it out of site. If it's a big liter bottle or something, you can take it in the park, but you'll have to put it in a locker before getting on some rides.

Do you have to put EVERYTHING in a locker for Mummy? I've read on here that the lockers are free, but how do they work?

Anything that can't fit in your pocket or a fanny pack have to be stored at the Mummy and Hulk. They are roller coaster and it isn't safe to be caring anything. The lockers are free for those rides while you are on the ride.

Would you feel safe leaving something like your brand new digital camera in the lockers?

Perfectly safe. The lockers use your fingerprint for Identification. Be sure after you put your stuff in the locker that you press the red button that locks the locker though. The locker does lock itself after about a minute if you forget though.

The only thefts they have had is when soemone doesn't actually rent a locker and just pick an empty locker and put their stuff in it. Then someone comes along and rents that locker.

We had to use the lockers to store my video camera when we rode the Mummy ride. I believe that the first 2 and a half hours were free at the Mummy lockers. After the 2 and a half hours, you start getting charged for the extra time.

Actually the free time is adjusted depending on the crowds and wait time. I've seen it as short as 1 hour and as long as 4 hours free at the Mummy. Most of the time it is set for 2 hours free.

But the locker would be free if you were just using it for that ride right? My camera is so small that it does fit in my pocket, but I just wouldn't want to take a chance on it falling out or getting broken somehow. Is someone there monitoring the lockers in case you leave your stuff in too long?

What I do is take a couple bucks with me. If they fall out of my pocket, it's no big deal. I've never gone over on the time limit, but if I did, I could still get my stuff out.

There is an attendant at the lockers. If you were on the ride and went over the time, they will open it for you and you won't be charged. I've never gone over the time though as they are usually set to give you plenty of time.

Seeing how alot of people read this I will post this here.

If you can not open your locker the poeple in Sahara Traders can not open your locker. The people in charge of lockers are ride opperations and not in the shop. I know this because I work there.

And just a minor correction on Bev you push a GREEN button, not a read on.

Ahh, a green button. I must have been riding Men in Black too much. "Don't push the red button."

Thanks guys!!

It's just such a cool camera....sometimes I get a little paranoid!!

So now it's ok to have a fanny pack on Mummy? I was not allowed on with mine in April, even though people with glasses and hats were allowed on. Didn't make sense and I'm glad that was changed.

T&B

Yes, fanny packs are now allowed on the Mummy. They started allowing them a couple of months ago.

If you have to use a locker, are they right there before you get in line, or will we have to search for them?

Also, do you know anything about being able to take your own water into Sea World?
