Watching the Coronation?

Anyone planning to watch the coronation on Saturday? I have to work night shift Friday and Saturday night so I'll be sleeping Saturday when it's on. I might be able to catch the beginning of it while I'm still at work. I'm going to record it and probably watch it Sunday when I wake up. I'm excited to see the outfits.

If I was off our plan was to get up in the middle of the night to watch it with tea and scones. Bummer.

No. I am anti-monarchy. The concept is completely ridiculous to me. It will be hard to avoid on the regular news later on, but luckily my church has a weekend retreat at an outdoor camp so I will have no TVs around.

I enjoy watching the weddings, funerals of the royal family. I’ve never seen a coronation before, but am interested. I will probably record it. My daughter graduates from college Saturday and that is a bigger deal in our household. I’m sure I’ll see highlights and then can watch more of the coverage later.

With the queens passing and the whole Harry debacle my interest in the royals has sadly waned.
