Watching the Coronation?

I'm not and never have been a big fan of Charles, but I'll probably watch for the music and for the sense memory of being in the Abbey.

I’m working, as well, but I’ll be watching it with patients (as I did with other RF events over the years).
If I was off our plan was to get up in the middle of the night to watch it with tea and scones. Bummer.
I love this. I wish my dad had been one of your patients. He did well as he loves to charm the nurses, but I think you are a gem. God bless you.

It will just be some talking, some sining, some moaning that is supposed to be singing, then a guy gets a crown pt on his head with some swords being swung about.

I suppose I'll see what's on the news later in the dsy/evening.

I do recall watching Elizabeth's back in the early 50's. It must have been delayed film back then.
The Coronation Concert is Sunday at 2pm central. My PBS station is carrying it. I figure it might be fun. I am looking forward to hearing Lionel Richie and the rest of the performers.
Beats watching golf.

My mom passed away still an english citizen so I will be watching but, DVR'd since it starts like at 3am here. I can fast forward through the boring stuff. I like the people watching the best.

I will try to watch most of it. Have not been home much/listening to the news - what time will it start Eastern time? TIA

100% not - could not care less if I tried about the whole thing! Only bonus is an extra bank holiday so a nice long weekend for us.

Oh is it time for another Miss America pageant? Sure, I'll watch her get her crown.
All hail Queen Camilla!!! :worship::worship::worship:

I love reading the comments on news stories on other sites. So many still have their panties twisted about Camilla.

How dare she be allowed to be Queen!!!

Elizabeth should have made William and Kate King and Queen!!!

Queen Homewrecker/Horseface/etc

And so on

I may watch a bit tomorrow but I have a feeling it will be drawn out and boring.

If I'm up I'll have it on while doing other things. I told my 7 year old if he wakes up and I've got the tv on he can get out of bed early to come watch with me.
