Watching the Coronation?

What time do 4 year olds go to bed in the US? As in, when are they usually falling asleep?

Thinking, lets take 30 minutes to go from gate to car, with the short cuts he has, from LAX to Montecito is about an 1.5 hour drive. So Harry was probably home home around 9.30pm.

Would Archie have been able to still be awake at that time, or would they wake him up to show him his father is home at a time where it still technically was his birthday?
Who knows how H&M handled it.

When my kids were 4 they were usually asleep by 8pm or so. Maybe they awakened Archie when Harry arrived home. Or perhaps he took a nap earlier in the day so he’d be awake for Harry’s arrival.

I’m guessing he was driven home from LAX, but maybe a private plane or helicopter was arranged to Santa Barbara.

In case anyone cares, Harry took the 3:45 pm flight from London on British Airways to Los Angeles. Expected arrival 7:30 pm, in time to get back home for the last few hours of Archie’s birthday.

First class, and private immigration and customs clearance upon arrival.

They could have just celebrated his birthday a day earlier or later. It's not like a 4 year old is staring at the calendar and will know his birthday is being celebrated a day off. This is the lamest excuse to stay away and to get out of Dodge. :sad2:

I agree. Harry should have stayed until at least today.

It was smart for Meghan to stay away, because the press would have made her a distraction, dissecting her every move and gesture. Even with Harry there were lip readers and “body language experts” interpreting his behavior. An astrologer tried to get in on the act too.

Official photo is out. And dang it's an old group. William and Kate look like babies compared to everyone else!

Nope - the whole thing just doesn’t appeal to me…
So many still have their panties twisted about Camilla.

How dare she be allowed to be Queen!!!

Diana had been 20 years old for less than 30 days, when Charles (aged 32) married her.

He (aged 29) met her (aged 16) while he was dating her sister. She was 19 when he proposed, and he married her 5 months later. Some people these days might call that grooming.

Diana (aged 25) had two children under 5 years old when allegedly Charles began having an affair with Camilla (aged 38) who was also married.

People feel twisted because it's icky.

She's been dead 25+ years. I don't like to speak ill of the dead, but she stepped out of her vows very early.
She and Charles were two people who didn't love each other. That happens. It's not grooming or "icky."

I was kind of laughing at the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh appearing to prop up Princess Alexandra. Her arms are at an awkward angle, but it is overall a great photo of everyone.

Perhaps it’s a lame excuse, or maybe it really mattered to Harry to be home for his son’s birthday.

Spending time with your kids on their birthdays is normal behavior. Watching people play dress up in silly robes and swords and hiding behind a screen while a priest does strange things isn’t. ;)

No need to mock other countries’ traditions.
