Watch out Dumbo, There's a bigger Circus coming to Town...Triplets take on the World

Hi Mo... I sure hope you are just busy... It's not like you to not check in during the week.

Stopping by to wish you and those adorable midgets a Happy Thanksgiving. I know I am a bit early - but I won't have time to do this tomorrow. So, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! (((Hugs)))

Oh my that Minnie dress is adorable! I also like the Alice in Wonderland one on the page too. With the popularity of Duffy, it is only a matter of time before they come out with a little Duffy sister or something. Then, Meg will already have all these cool clothes.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow! I should be cleaning....or prepping....or even cooking whatever I can tonight. But I have a VERY rare evening without Bradey here (staying at my parent's house), so I wanted to try to catch up a little on here.

You mentioned that freaky little Elf. Ugh....I hate that thing! I wish I had never started that tradition in this house :crazy2: Guess I need to go dig him out of the pile in the basement.....

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Mo, I didn't get on the computer yesterday, but I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving. The apple pie looked yummy!

Hello all!!!

Quick drive in to tell you yes i am alive and ok! :rotfl:

I hope you all had a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! we had our BEST yet!!!

i've lost several of my Subscriptions to your reports and looking for them too!

LOVE YOU ALL and i am very Thankful to have such a wonderful group of friends. HONESTLY know i care about each and every one of you!:grouphug:

always prayers are with you all.. Lois! GLAD they were able to do the surgery!

Hello MO! Hope you photo-documented your Thanksgiving...I did! :thumbsup2 Anywho...miss you on here!!!

Hidey Ho Mo... Hahahaha... OK... Maybe not that funny...

Glad to see you alive and well - I've missed ya!!! I am glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

D~

Just checking in, glad to hear you had a great Thanksgiving! It says I can order grey bands on the MDE page, I know it will change when we get closer. Still at 301 days....lol We are doing good here, DH is in good spirits.

Hi Mo ~ Glad to hear that you are alive and well, and especially that you had a SPECTACULAR Thanksgiving! I have found myself in the same predicament as you...just can't find the time to get on here and update my TR and stay caught up on everyone else's. I can't believe it's already December...and there is SO MUCH to do before Christmas!

I love that Minnie dress - who cares if it's Duffy - its a bear! My youngest has a pink bunny that she used to dress up in baby dolll clothes all the time - and put hair bands around its ears.

I USED TO DO THAT!!! ha ha ha! i did! i loved my bunny. if i still had it i would still put the ears up and dress it!
Like you, i don't care, a child has their imagination it's not like he is a MANLY bear. just a cute and cuddly teddy bear. :lovestruc

I make a general plan for each day - mainly which park we have adrs in and use that as a guide for what we will do each day. However, nothing is written in stone and all plans are subject to change. I think that we have been to WDW enough, and plan to return often, that I don't feel we have to do "everything" each time we go. I much prefer to be a bit spontaneous and let the moment dictate the plans.

YES YES YES! same here.. I do plan each day. imagine everything at the parks.. What rides we will do that day, which way we will walk. Then i get there and it all goes out the window, because i am as wide eyed as the kids!!! with the exception of ADR's It's a fun quote to think about.

That is not to say that I disagree with those who plan out each minute of the trip. If that makes them happy, go for it!

THAT TOO! EXACTLY! I have my own way of planning and thinking and others do as well, i love reading how people plan. I steal any ideas i can... ::yes::

I don't know if that first view of the castle, or Spacehip Earth, or the sorceror's hat, or the Tree of Life will ever grow old and lose its magic. That's why we go!

NEVER

Lois, I am happy to hear that your daughter does not have cancer. We have been praying for her.

another reason i love the Dis. i have such wonderful friends. i feel so sorry for those who who run into the bad apples when there is so much more here!

I just love that Duffy Minnie dress - it's adorable and it appears to be well made. I am so glad you were able to find something.

I am so glad you said that.. I was worried!

The Moroccan restaurant looks wonderful! But still not sure it is "the" restaurant I am looking for in Epcot... I still get a "meh" feeling when I think of all of them.

Totally agree. 100%

And I love that book excerpt... I don't think it could be more perfectly described.

isn't it??? just love when you find little quotes and brings you RIGHT BACK to Disney...

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

D~

Oh we really did... Update on that shortly!

Mo, I'm sorry I've been missing, and hope you will forgive me.
Work has been crazy (end of year closings, etc.), planning for the holidays, dealing with my brother's medical issues and trying to get ready for our trip next week.

I'm always here! I miss you always then i just jump on facebook and POOF there you are and i can post silly comments....
you leave today so i know you wont read this but have a MAGICAL TRIP!!!! pixiedust:

This is what we do as well. And I feel exactly the same way every time I see those icons in each park!!

this is why we are all friends.. feel the same!!!

Thanks for the prayers!!

i keep them coming for you and your family.

Mo - You jumped on over the weekend??!! Yay! Hope it was a good one. I've been decorating for Christmas since we leave on Thanksgiving day to fly to Texas to celebrate with my sister. Something tells me I told you this already. Hmm. Where or where did I put my brain???

your brain must be parting with mine. so if you find yours have mine come home too.

I probably won't be on again before turkey day, so I want to wish you and your family and everyone on this thread a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving surrounded with people you love!! One thing I am VERY grateful for are my DIS friends!!!

I cannot agree with you more! I hope yours was as amazing!!!

Too funny about Duffy in drag! Actually if you read Cheekypoppins' PTR, her daughter's Duffy does drag too!!! He has an Ariel costume! :rotfl2: Maybe you all should be taking your Duffy's to Disney in June? :rolleyes1

:rotfl2: that's funny.... really funny... oh the things i am thinking!

That new restaurant in Morocco was under construction when we were there! Can't wait. I just LOVE Disney Dining!

yes but i don't think i am going to go running for it??? i have so many other places i NEED to try.

Not sure if I will make it back over here before next week, so to my favorite Ringmaster Disfriend:

Very sweet thank you!!!! I saw your Turkey day was amazing! Hope to post mine today!

Just wanted to give you a quick update on Jennifer. Her surgery took and hour longer than anticipated because the tumor had grown so much since the last test (a week ago). But it went well and she is on the road to recovery. I would still appreciate prayers for that long process. She tends to overdo, which isn't difficult when you have four kids!
Meanwhile:
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!!!!

AW! Thank you!!! Hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful?!?!
Please always keep us updated on Jennifer!!! That's horrible it grew that much... were they able to get everything? when is the next check up?

Hi Mo... I sure hope you are just busy... It's not like you to not check in during the week.

You guessed it i was UBER busy. i promise to tell you allllllllllllll about it. shortened of course.
Thank you for thinking about me!!!

Stopping by to wish you and those adorable midgets a Happy Thanksgiving. I know I am a bit early - but I won't have time to do this tomorrow. So, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving! (((Hugs)))

Yes the Minni dress is really cute! It was delivered just haven't had the chance to open it and check it out... As for a female Duffy SHELLIEMAY there she is. not available in the US and NOT going to pay thousands for a stuffie.
I hope to have several outfits for dear ol drag duffy!

I can't believe Thanksgiving is tomorrow! I should be cleaning....or prepping....or even cooking whatever I can tonight. But I have a VERY rare evening without Bradey here (staying at my parent's house), so I wanted to try to catch up a little on here.

I can't believe Thanksgiving was last week! I really wish there were more hours in a day. I want to hear all about your day!!! you will hear about mine in a minute!

You mentioned that freaky little Elf. Ugh....I hate that thing! I wish I had never started that tradition in this house :crazy2: Guess I need to go dig him out of the pile in the basement.....

OK time to finally update you in my crazy life...

I have No idea where i left off. we will just start last week!
I know i left work early Wednesday half day which for me is 9am! :yay: Ran out of here did last minute shopping had to stop at a shop to order some jersey's for volleyball.. they don't open until 11... :headache:

Off to pick up the kids. they had a half day i guess not everyone gets out at 9 :confused3 11:30 i had my overly excited children and 1 not so exuberant god son. whatever. Drop off grumpy. back to the store for something that would look like a jersey.
(as i write this i am getting phone call after phone call.. what is wrong with people?!?! Leave me alone! i am trying to make an update!)
Ordered something cute found a sweatshirt for ME and off we went to go home.
COOK CLEAN COOK CLEAN COOK CLEAN COOK CLEAN COOK CLEAN COOK CLEAN
that's my normal routine on Wednesday before Thanksgiving along with getting really annoyed, upset, just not a fun thing.
I know something was up and i had to leave? i didn't have to work... hummm can't remember! i did send Tom on the hunt for that menacing elf on the shelf code word was PAN...
i started to chop and prep for the cooking blitz! This was going SO WELL!! :cheer2: decided to get all my stuff together for my VERY FIRST EVER Home made Apple pie!!!
I have been wanting to do this forever never knew how. what does anyone do? search the internet for all the recipes i can get my hands on. take what i like and run...

AFTER i posted this on facebook all my "friends" decided to pipe up and tell me how i was supposed to remove the peels... this little fact was never mentioned in all my research..... :rolleyes2 well a little too late isn't it! eh well. in the oven it went.
are you as excited to see what it looks like as i was?!?!?

are ya?

Did i mention that Tom still couldn't find the pan

OK ok ok :

LOOKS GOOD! but does it taste good?!?!? I dunno! have to wait until THANKSGIVING TO TRY IT!
yet if you look closely you can see little finger marks in the pie crust... screwballs! again we were having so much fun. Zack started to help. loved using the chopper thing i bought. we all were cooking, prepping, had music going, cleaning as we went.. The pan is still missing....
Matt acting like this:

there were a LOT of laughs!!! So differently then previous years!!! i am telling you i'm like a whirlwind of crazy... not this year!
Then...

it was....

That HORRIBLE... Gruesome... Heinous..

task of cleaning the turkey. Have i ever told you how much i hate preparing a turkey? they are VIAL, disgusting animals, birds- foul. whatever you want to call them.. i can't stand it. i need a bottle of wine every time i start...
Popping the bottle of wine. i brought out the
I despise this thing... downing my first glass of wine I QUICKLY disposed of the neck and i don't want to know what's in the bag. downed another glass of wine took a cigarette break!
OK phew... pour another glass of wine. by this time the kids and Tom are having WAY too much fun laughing AT me.. All fun and games until the turkey gets TOSSED! :rotfl2:
alright. back to work. make my concoction of butter and stuff to INJECT into this SOB. :scared: the kids are intrigued in all this... OK WANNA DO IT?! YEAH was the response. OK!!! YAY!!! we all helped with the preparing of the FOUL thing. took no time at all.
Next thing we knew the preparations were completed! The PAN was found! i was buzzed the kids thought that was WAY FUNNY.. and we were DONE.. for the night anyway..
I think we watched a bit of TV and off we were to read the THE BOOK to bring the freakish elf TO LIFE :crazy2:

Next up... Thanksgiving MORNING!!!

Next up... Thanksgiving MORNING!!!

This sounds like my Wednesday evening/Thursday morning -- clean cook, etc.

I never peel the apples when I make an apple pie - just so you know.

It still looks yummy to me! I love apple pie!

I think I'm glad the elf was not around when my kids were little.....:rotfl2:

Hey MO, just catching up and I do not envy all your Volleyball drama. I would be so stressed.

Your Disney planning is coming right along. Most kids can't sleep on Christmas Eve but you will be up all Christmas night in anticipation of December 26th. LOL.

Your Thanksgiving prep sounds like lots of fun. Maybe next year the kids can take care of the Turkey! We had a full house for a few days but my mom does all the cooking. I am still recovering from all that excitement and still finding things in odd places. Finally found one of my knives in a drawer we barely use. Oh well.

That little Minnie dress is adorable. Meg will have the best dressed bear. :)

Read this in a book and it stuck with me.
What’s an adventure if you know all the steps before you take them.

This statement is remarkable! All of us and our planning. we plan... and plan... and plan- pouring over menu's, rides, what resort to choose- for over a year we plan on our wonderful destination vacation.
Yet once we get there, and walk through the gates of magic. all of our planning means nothing. It turns into a wonderland of adventure. Every turn is magic every sight, sound, even smell turns into a new experience a new adventure. You cannot plan how you will experience the sensations that blanket us once inside. the magic that takes over.
this is why I love Disney as much as i do. Yes i will continue to pour over all the information on the internet to ensure i don't miss an attraction - yet - once i am there with a family who has never been, the adventure will take over we will succumb, allowing it to show whatever excitement awaits.
:thumbsup2 Couldn't agree more.

So, was the pie yummy?

And don't anyone freak out but we still don't have our tree up!!! I am beginning to stress on this one.

HI Mo!!! Just stopping by... Mmmm.... that pie looks delicious - so was it? You could have sent some my way - we never have apple pie... But Josh does make amazing apple crisp - I should remind him of that. LOL

I LOLed at that turkey - I had to look at it twice, because I thought it's rear end was looking at me, so I scrolled up and sure enough - it was. Weird. :confused3

And don't anyone freak out but we still don't have our tree up!!! I am beginning to stress on this one.

I don't either Liz - this is sooo not like me... I fear that 2013 will be the year we don't have a tree. Since, if we don't get it by tomorrow night - Josh has school every single day until the Sunday before Christmas. :scared:

Mo... Don't be a stranger - come back to play!

D~

Oh My GOODNESS!!! Your telling of the turkey tale is hilarious!!! :lmao: Your apple pie looks delicious! Can't wait to see how it turned out! :thumbsup2

I don't have my tree yet either - and with Charlie going out of town I'm not sure when I will get it.:confused3

I did put the tree up at work today though. Does that count?

Mo - you left us hanging again.......

Raina had a birthday tea party for the girls they turned 8 and 4 at thanksgiving..

thank you for your indulgence............

I just love reading your posts!! Never a dull moment at your house, but throw in a holiday and it's really off to the races!! You really have a talent for story telling. Just wish you wouldn't leave us hanging like that! I was going to suggest having a glass of wine to ease the stress, but I see you already had that idea...and improved on it!

The pie looked delicious and I'm betting it tasted just a good. I applaud you for trying something new at such a high-stress time. Hope you come back soon to give us the rest of the scoop. Glad you had such a wonderful Thanksgiving.

As far as Jennifer, she is doing really well. Just using one crutch now and weaned herself off of the heavy duty pain meds. Just taking ibuprofen now. Her follow up is today. She over did it on Wednesday and payed for it the next day, but I know how hard it is to be feeling better and still have others do for you. Thanks for caring my friend!

Our trip is only 60 days away and I haven't had time to do a thing for it. Charlotte will only be with us for 5 days, but Dan and I will be there for 9 days. I have a feeling I'll be quite busy in January making outfits for Charlotte to wear. Why can't there be more hours in a day??? At least during the holidays.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and I hope that you'll have time to finish your Thanksgiving update soon. Inquiring minds really want to know how that pie tasted!!!

This sounds like my Wednesday evening/Thursday morning -- clean cook, etc.

hate this... you can't even think straight when your doing all this!!! honestly with the kids helping it made it so much better.

I never peel the apples when I make an apple pie - just so you know.

Really!!! once i read what people wrote on facebook i got scared.

It still looks yummy to me! I love apple pie!

It's my favorite too!!! with awesome vanilla ice cream!

I think I'm glad the elf was not around when my kids were little.....:rotfl2:

I'm SO THANKFUL it wasn't around when i was a kid. can you imagine the nightmares i would have?!?!

Hey MO, just catching up and I do not envy all your Volleyball drama. I would be so stressed.

Hey welcome back!!! :wave2:you've been missed ya know!!!

ugh.. Thankfully after the meeting with the President (my BIL) things have finally calmed down. she is still a freak.

Your Disney planning is coming right along. Most kids can't sleep on Christmas Eve but you will be up all Christmas night in anticipation of December 26th. LOL.

your SO RIGHT!!! i am all wound up and cannot wait to get this trip on TRACK!!!

Oh well.

Oh i can dream of a day i don't have to deal with that bird!!! i love a house FULL of family and friends. i love to be surrounded by it all. and i would love even more someone else cooking, My mom doesn't do the BIG cooking. she gets crabby so my Step-dad and i took it all over!
HA HA HA you have a scavenger hunt for all your utensils!!!

That little Minnie dress is adorable. Meg will have the best dressed bear. :)

I LOLed at that turkey - I had to look at it twice, because I thought it's rear end was looking at me, so I scrolled up and sure enough - it was. Weird. :confused3

i can't stand turkeys...

I don't either Liz - this is sooo not like me... I fear that 2013 will be the year we don't have a tree. Since, if we don't get it by tomorrow night - Josh has school every single day until the Sunday before Christmas. :scared:

NO WAY.. this is not allowed you must have a tree!!!! even if it's a small table top. MUST HAVE A TREE!

Mo... Don't be a stranger - come back to play!

D~

i swear i don't mean to disappear!!! once i think i have 20 minutes to sit and write something all hell breaks loose and i have to gather all the demons that escaped!

Oh My GOODNESS!!! Your telling of the turkey tale is hilarious!!! :lmao: Your apple pie looks delicious! Can't wait to see how it turned out! :thumbsup2

thanks! unfortunately it's all true. well with the exception of the reality of what the turkey looked like...

i love having you!!!
NEVER a dull moment.. at this point i am willing to pay for one!!! Yes! throw me a holiday to get a party really started! HA HA

You really have a talent for story telling. Just wish you wouldn't leave us hanging like that! I was going to suggest having a glass of wine to ease the stress, but I see you already had that idea...and improved on it!

:rotfl: I'm glad your enjoying it! i'm always concerned in how to write these things... seems you guys 'get me' i believe there is a shortage of wine in my house at the moment, i am sure it will be rectified by this afternoon...

The pie looked delicious and I'm betting it tasted just a good. I applaud you for trying something new at such a high-stress time. Hope you come back soon to give us the rest of the scoop. Glad you had such a wonderful Thanksgiving.

oh i can't just have normal stress! I MUST ADD TO IT! I want to do an update today. if my eyes stay open long enough

POOR KID! i am so glad to hear she is doing better. honestly she is always in my prayers!
I hope the rest is better too! i now you were having a bad day?

Our trip is only 60 days away and I haven't had time to do a thing for it. Charlotte will only be with us for 5 days, but Dan and I will be there for 9 days. I have a feeling I'll be quite busy in January making outfits for Charlotte to wear. Why can't there be more hours in a day??? At least during the holidays.

i would LOVE to do an update today., But honestly i cannot put a thought together. I am so tired.
the last two days i have worked 12-16 hours. today i am feeling it.
Still have to go to volleyball after work then off to 4 hours of dog training.
HOPE to get some sleep. then off to our first volleyball games of the season and of COURSE they are home games. Being the volleyball coordinator i have to go and set up make sure all is running smoothly.

this place has been turned upside down with the the migration. Yep another migration. WHY must they change things then the old just finally settled down?!?!
it's been HORRIBLE with problem after problem. and now i have to go and fix SEVERAL more issues at hand.
ya think the PM in charge of this would do her job??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO dumped on us to clean up their crap..
i did work last night at the 2nd job and had a BALL! oh my we had all kinds of fun!!!! probably why i am so dead today.
I promise to get something done tomorrow after the games!!!
