Aw man, now I want some Mickey pancakes. :rotfl: Well I think I'd rather have a Mickey waffle, they are my favorite. One of these days I'm going to order one of the Mickey waffle makers.

Quackattack, I am so sorry to hear all of your troubles (I feel your pain), but glad to know that hubby will be able to make it on the cruise with all of you.

Nice job on the pancakes, Connie. My DH makes those for me whenever we have pancakes at home. His often, unfortunately, end up looking like bunnies. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I hopped over from my TR! And just spent my lunch hour reading through your PTR!

What fun you are making your wait for the cruise! So very talented with all the movie nights & such!

Adorable family & it's neat seeing so much excitement build up!

Aren't Dis Friends & meets the best? I have been very blessed by great ones n the past!!!

Looking forward to following through AND moving to your TR after your cruise! :)

ohhhhhhhhh Breakfast for dinner is awesome!!! Mickey Pancakes made it SO MUCH BETTER!!!

Hope your Hubby is feeling better Quackattack!

Did you notice that there is a picture of only ONE Mickey pancake? :confused3 The other one I made... not so much. :rolleyes2

I am SO terrible at taking selfies! :sad2: But I could get Brian to take one of both of us next time, good suggestion! :thumbsup2

Do you know that I have never had a Mickey waffle? :confused3 We just are not big breakfast folks, so we always have a breakfast "snack" in the room before hitting the parks. I will someday try one, I promise! :goodvibes

Since we are not big on eating a big breakfast first thing in the mornings, but we do like breakfast food...Brinners are the BEST for us! And yes, Mickey makes everything better!!! :earboy2:

We interrupt our regular programming on this PTR to make an important announcement...

It's double digit dance day!!!!

99 day's til we cruise!!!!!!!!

 :woohoo: :yay: :dance3: :cool1: :hyper: :jumping1: :bounce: :rockband:

ATTENTION FELLOW CRUISERS....IGNORE THIS UPDATE IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN OUR FISH EXTENDER EXCHANGE AND YOU LIKE SURPRISES!!!!

I MEAN IT Y'ALL....GO AWAY!!! :rotfl:

With that out of the way...the excitement was just killing me too much not to share! I got all my FE gifts finished this week!!!! :yay: For those of you unfamiliar with the Fish Extender exchanges, here it is in a nutshell. You hang pouches outside your stateroom door, and others who have signed up for the exchange drop small gifts into your pouches each day. I loved this idea, and was quick to sign our family up for it. :goodvibes

If you recall, my MIL (with a little bit of help from D~ who embroidered the AWESOME Mickey heads for us) made our actual Fish Extender pouches, and they turned out PERFECTLY!!!

BFF and I got busy making gifts for the little girls:

Upon a suggestion from some IRL friends, I chose to order the boy gifts for Pirate Night on the cruise:

Inside those pouches are some gold doubloons!

The gifts for the ladies came from an idea I did for Dismeet gifts I made a few months ago:

Those are postcards, and each lady will get five of them. I had these printed professionally, and loved the way they turned out. :goodvibes

And finally, for the men I once again enlisted the help of MIL. I bought the supplies, and she made them for me:

I am so happy with the way everything turned out, and cannot wait for this bit of fun on the cruise!!!

First of all:

Whoo Hoo double digit day!! :cool1:  :dance3: :rainbow:

Those are wonderful FE gifts!!

My hubby received one of those bracelets on our cruise in our FE and he absolutely loved it. It was his favorite thing we got all week!

And very good job on getting it all done in advance. I think I finished mine approx. 4 hours before we left for the cruise! :rolleyes1

Thanks everyone for celebrating double digits with me, and for your kind compliments on my FE gifts.

Please excuse me for not commenting to each of you. Friday morning I found out my boss's 32 year old son committed suicide. We are all in shock. I cannot imagine how my boss must feel, what he must be going through. Small grace in that son was not married or have any children. SO, as a parent, how much of the blame do you try to place on yourself? By the world's standards, this yound man was the epitome of success. Nice home, nice car, six digit salary. Came from a family of "old money". Today is the memorial service, and I am not looking forward to it. Please send out all the prayer and pixie dust you can if you think of me or my boss today.

Oh, Connie, how tragic. I am keeping everyone involved in my thoughts and prayers.

I want to go ahead and crank out a couple of updates, because Brian and I will be leaving tomorrow for our Gulf Shores vacation.

Last week we got our Disney Side decal in the mail.

I feel that it is a bit large to use on my car, so I adhered it to card stock, laminated it, and will add magnets to use on our stateroom door on the cruise. :thumbsup2

I also did a bit of shopping last week to prepare for the cruise:

For one of our excursions we plan to snorkel, so I wanted everyone to have a chance to "practice" while we are at the beach this week. Of course, the kids had to try them on and clown around a bit:

I will be back over here this afternoon to post a movie night update.

Oh I am So sorry to hear about the tragic event.. hope everyone is coping

The snorkels are AWESOME! we have the same ones!!!! be careful they do pop off easily!
:thumbsup2

I hope you have an underwater camera??? the pictures you will have will be EPIC!!!

This one literally takes the cake for favorite movie night so far. We had such a great time, and let's face it, the movie is amazing, too!

The invitation:

I improvised so much on the decorations, but had SO MUCH FUN pulling it all together:

The talent show was a RIOT!!!

Gabe danced to the Jonas Brother's version of "I Wanna Be Like You" from the Jungle Book:

Stephen (aka Gonzo) did magic tricks:

I sang "Pirate's Life for Me":

Rochelle (aka Animal) played drums- and yes, it was as crazy funny as it looks:

Can you see now why we love this family, and wanted them to cruise with us? :rotfl:

Jillian told jokes:

Andrew (aka Beeker) did an awesome science experiment:

Charity sang and danced to "Fabulous" from High School Musical 2:

Brian had fully intended to participate, but the end of the school term exams and assignments kept him from pulling anything together. :sad2:

Food was delicious. Swedish Chef's Meatballs and Noodles:

"It's Not Easy Being Green" Veggies:

And the star of the show was made by Rochelle...Rainbow Connection Cake:

Look at this masterpiece:

It tasted BETTER than it looked! It was a true winner, for sure! :worship:

I wanted to get a picture of the Quackattack Family; because we had so much fun, and everyone was just so happy when it was time to end the night:

And our next movie night will be:

Oh my gosh! I agree with you...this looked like the best movie night E-V-E-R! Ya'll look like you were having so much fun!
