Washer and dryer brand?

L-O-V-E my Speed Queen top loading washer. I am so sorry I wasted 25 years on multiple Maytag sets I only have the washer as my dryer is hanging on by a thread, but when it goes will get the Speed Queen. BONUS? Made in America I recommend it to everyone. There are others on the boards who have them, do a search to find the thread

I love my samsung front loader, it's a 4.5 size. Like LOVE it. I didn't get the matching dryer because the washer died before the dryer did and one expense at a time is enough. It's over a year old and I still love it.

I have an LG washer/dryer set and I love it. My washer is HE, but it is a toploader. No agitator and it fits tons of clothes or a comforter. My previous washer was a Whirlpool Duet front loader and I did not like it at all. I didn't think it cleaned the clothes well and hated the front loader - really tough on the back. I highly recommend the LG and the toploader.

I think my washing machine died. So if anyone has input on the best brand, place to buy, front or top loading, HE or not, please share.

This is my second front loader - had the first (Sears) many years. Bought the large capacity steam Samsung HE front loader and it works great. Never have any problem with 'smells' as I always leave the door ajar some to air dry. Stands to reason shutting the door while wet would cause anything to smell and mildew. Have 'never' had to use any type cleaner in it - two years old now. Love it!
