When I called to make reservations for our trip in January, I was asking about rooms at the Poly or GF.

I was looking for the least expensive rooms- btu there were none in eother resort, so I had to go to Lagoon view.

I can't remember the price of the rooms exactly, but when comparing the difference in price beween the POly Laggon view and GF lagoon view- there was only a $10.00 difference. So I chose the GF lagoon view. Then, we started booking that room and she said that I could get a MK view room at the GF for only $10.00/ night compared to the Lagoon view- so, l took it like any red blooded Disney fan would!

Are MK view rooms always only $10.00 more per night? Was that an upsell? OR was I duped???!!!???? (It doesn't really matter... I've never stayed there before and I really want to try GF out.)

Our trip is scheduled for The first week of January.

For anyone who works in Room Reservations at a hotel, it is their job to increase revenue and increase occupancy. So if you reserved something that cost more than what you originally planned on, based on information that was communicated to you, then yes, it was an upsell.
