Was DU able to apply the AP discount code for you today?

We are considering utitilizing DU's talents for our next WDW vacation. Based on historical code release dates, I will be on vacation (not Disney) when discount codes will be issued for our next WDW holiday(12/2006). So we thought we would let DU do the work for us since the last thing I want to do on vacation is worry about calling CRO.

I would be MOST interested in hearing from those who have booked with DU and hearing whether or not DU was able/not able to get AP rates applied.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I won't know until this afternoon which is when I expect to get an email letting me know.

However, DU did a great job for us last year. Very pleased with their service!

Sorry to keep you waiting. I got my email a few hours ago. Sue Ellen came through for us yet again!

I did not even know about the codes being released late last night. I got up this morning and found an email from my DU Agent informing me that codes were out and she had already applied to my ressie. Can't beat service like that.

It is important to be clear with any TA what potential discounts you are entitled to (AAA, AP, etc) and what your flexibility is.

DU, was able to get me an AP rate for the Poly this morning. I had no idea th rates were out, until I got on the boards at 6:55am, and read about everyone on hold..

We have used them for the past three years, and they have always gotten us a discount. If you havent gottten an email from your rep, try going to your DU itinerary-reservation page.. It was posted on there, before our rep was able to get an email out to me!!

Yep, we have gotten discounted rates several times now with DU. I did get the email from our agent this morning telling me she got me my AP rate at Movies and did I want to keep it or move to POR. Said to move me to POR so I am still waiting to see if she got to do it. But, they get really busy on these days so if it takes awhile, then so be it.

I would most certainly book with them if you are going to be away. Just be sure they know every discount you would be eligable for. If you have an AP be sure to note it on the quote request.

This is our second trip using DU. They (Sue Ellen) secured an AP rate this morning for all three of our rooms at POFQ (May 21-26). Yippee!!

I can not get into my mail, but from the looks of things Sue Ellen from Dreams Unlimited saved us $1200.00 on our reservation for 2 rooms at WL Woods View June4th to 11th. We added a day to the stay checking out on the 12th so I am sure the savings is a bit more than the $1200. that she said she saved us.

I believe she saved us $244.00 on our reservation for 1 room WL Woods View June 1-4.
That total is over $1444.00. With the savings off the extra day that we added it will be a bit more. Could that be right? That is a lot of money!!!

My DU agent would have gotten us an AP rate but didn't because we already had a discount rate with an email pin discount and that discount is better than the AP discount at AKL. Got up this morning to find an email from Cathy and she said she checked to apply AP rate to our reservations at AKL but our email discount was a better deal. So basically she did come through because she was looking out for the better deal for us. Now I just need to get back to Cathy and give her our requests for PS.

I didn't even know that the codes were out when I got two emails from my DU agent, Marla Hellwig telling me she had gotten me AP for Pop April 30, and for Poly May 6 & 7. Wonderful service.

Our DU agent Sue Ellen was right on top of things! I was emailing with her at 1:00 am last night and again this morning at 7:00 am. I'll NEVER go back to sitting on the phone and running up my bill just to get a CM who has no idea what they are doing. I am spoiled.

Just got an email from Shirley at DU and we are moving over to POR. Actually have two reservations...one at Movies and one at POR. She didn't want to cancel my Movies reservation until the POR one went through. Just waiting for the deposit to get through. So, I'll be at Riverside for the same money as I booked Movies for. I'm happy.

My DU agent was on the phone first thing this morning but there were no AP rates at CSR for our dates. She did say that they still had rooms at POR and POFQ for the AP rate but we chose to stay at CSR with our AAA discount. It appears that there weren't too many rooms available for our weekend at the AP rate to begin with.

Hi Riu Girl... Dreams saved me $1465.11 today - have not even worked out the exchange yet, but HUGE savings. I read about them on the boards, and decided to go for it given I am on the west coast and did not want to get up at 4am to try for rates. I was nervous giving over control but it has been so worth it. Susan Haass is just excellent. I gave her all my ps's at 90 days and whenever I go in it is updated - no waiting on hold for that! Today I just got up and went to work and came home $1465.11+ richer!!!! We are staying 8 nights at Poly and 6 at AKL! Good luck!
