Agree the villians in TS3 were creepy. A redemption would have been nice! DS was pretty creeped out by the whole thing. I have to say though, Senior Lightyear doing the Flamenco was hilarious!

We had our Toy Story 3 Party this past Saturday. I'm not sure if anyone remembers me winning the Dream A Princess Dream contest...I don't have a Princess...only a Prince. We converted the prize and here is the outcome:

It was a great time! And I was so shocked at the gifts that they gave to my son too!

I personally think Lotso is a great meet and greet.

I can't wait to see him, and interact with him. Maybe try to rile him up a bit.

I know for a fact that my DD3 will NOT want to stand in line to see Lotso. We saw the movie last Saturday. She told me that he was mean when he changed Buzz. BUT what really got her was when Woody saved Lotso and Lotso didn't return the favor. She kept talking "Mommy, Woody helped him. Why didn't he help Woody? That's not nice. He is SO mean".

The characters she likes are Bonnie's new toys. She has slept with a stuffed Buttercup every night since Saturday. Since Andy gave his toys to Bonnie, why not have a meet and greet with Bonnie's toys? I know none of them are major characters, but if you had Buttercup, Dolly, Mr. Pricklepants and Trixie you could meet all the toys that are now Woody and Buzz's friends.

I loved meeting Lotso. I heard he was going to be the bad guy but he was just so CUTE! I don't regret it. I think he's the most cuddly of the characters I've hugged. It's a shame they don't have the plush bears in the park anymore. I had to get mine from the Disney Store because WDW was completely out.

He doesn't smell like strawberries though in case people are allergic.

Does anyone else wonder why they chose to feature Lotso at the Character Greeting in Hollywood Studios?

In the DHS animation studio, I wish they had put in a Buzz Lightyear, but with flamenco music in the background and with built-in Spanish phrases that would play if Buzz hit the button on his arm.

I would have stood in a REALLY long line to do that meet and greet.

I am not so much wondering that, because there are villians greets, but I was wondering something. Before the movie came out and all the stuff was everywhere I saw him and thought he was so darn cute. We had friends having their first baby and they are big Toy Story fans so I thought about geeteting them him for their new baby. I decided not to because I figured I would get something more practical but had I bought it I think I would have felt bad about doing so, giving them a cute, cuddly, evil bear.
Having said all that, the movie was great, we loved it. Want to see it again for sure. It was either my favorite of the 3 or second favorite to the original.
