I got my paycheck. I got my paycheck. Grossed $516 working 6 days in 1 week. Paid for 5/5 thru 5/11. And ALL the Coppertones I did were paid at enhanced rate...even the off date ones (less $8 of course). SWEET BONUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just waiting to be paid on 6 more events now. woohoo

This year-to-date paystub is just $200 shy of what I made doing demoing last year. I'm sure the next paystub will surpass.

Congrats It is nice to get the money in lump like that. I've been putting mine in a savings acct. I feel a little like scrooge looking at my money

I did a double event on 5-9, granola & cereal and Coppertone. Then on 5-11 I did chips. The check I just rec'd has one event dated 5-9 and the 5-11 event, and I know both 5-9 events were in the same envelope.

They must be hiring a lot of new people around here, 'cause I can't book any off dates anymore.

I've got my kit for this Saturday 6/2 Coppertone & Cott Beverages....but no instructions yet. Its got something in the box about Oriental Green Tea (I think) & winning a trip, a cardboard cooler & freezer packs, gloves, cups & napkins....along with 6 cans of Coppertone spray, 2 more t-shirts & 2 more hats, tattos, brochures, a beach ball & a pin. AND on the box...."WDW Safety Tip cards" which are Pumba & Timon cards saying to stay safe in the sun. I haven't looked closely at any of the stuff.

So....looks like we'll be spraying & pouring. Weird combo even though we don't spray the customer.

"Ummmm, please don't spray that Coppertone towards my beverage samples. Thank you".

6/2 Coppertone/Cott event showed up at just one store here and I’m volunteering to work concession stand at school that day. I was hoping it would go off-date, but someone picked it up before that happened. Maybe they’ll drop it by Saturday when the instructions come out.

I’m off shortly to do an off-date BC Potato/NV Cereal event. I wish this one would have been cancelled instead of my on-date last week. Taylor said last week’s BC Potato event showing unbooked by me was pre-cancelled by the client. Then on Sunday morning, another BC Potato event “popped up” at another location so I’m doing it Monday.

Three events for June so far after eight events in May - a record.
6/4 Off-date BC Potatoes (WM), 6/10 Cherry Coke Zero (Target), 6/16 Hershey (Kmart). The Asian Sensations/Red Baron Singles are slow to be picked up so I’m hoping to get a couple of those as off-date.

I know for a FACT Michigan did NOT get a raise... That makes me very angry!

And to answer splashes question about stores:

Kmarts: 10 Different ones
Good Foods: 2 Different ones
Targets: 5 different ones
Walmarts: 6 different ones

There are a few other single stores I have been to... I just checked over my bookings... I have done 110 events since last July!!! Go me! I think I DESERVE that raise.... Come On mass connections... give Michigan a raise, we work JUST AS HARD!

BTW, I just opened my kit for Thursday's Green Giant Simply Steam vegies...and MORE GOODIES. Another pot holder, but nice this time, black & white. Another set of black serving spoons. Another knife...I think I have my service for 8 now. And a meat thermometer.

Had I thought of it, I could have tossed some of these extra potholders & serving spoons & measuring spoon sets into the yard sale. Maybe next time. A person only needs sooooo many ya know.

thanks for the suggestion. I will keep mine for our subdivision yard sale. Sell them for a couple of quarters or a buck!

Garnier (sp) Mobile Events are showing up for 6-30. I just booked a Coppertone event for that day, then this came avail. closer, so I unbooked and re-booked. Hope they don't mind.

If you take a 6/30 event, I'm thinking there will be MAJOR vacation traffic on highways. With 7/4 falling mid-week, I'm thinking alot of people will be taking the week off.

I'm booked every weekend in June so far EXCEPT for the 6/30 one....because right now, I just can't decide if I want to do it. DH & I might be able to escape to Cape Cod & do some jetskiing (new one) before he has to report for a few days work (military) for the Boston Pop's July 4th concert & fireworks. On the otherhand, I can only stand so many days with my mom.

Still no Coke Zero Chery here yet, I keep looking for it! Probably show up tomorrow while I do my offdate Yoplait Whips.
Not a single Coppertone event ever showed up here. Most of my competition has disappeared, so I'm pretty sure we never had Coppertone.
Splash, about two weeks ago I went thru my boxes and threw the extras in my yard sale box. Have no clue if I will ever have a sale, but I'm ready with those extra measuring cups, tool sets and ugly pot holders! Might even throw some napkin and plastic fork packages in there!

I have so many freaking napkins, its really not funny. If they send me 500 for an event I know I'll use hardly any, I've started bringing just what I think I'll need from an already open package. Leaving the brand new package behind. This way I can start using up the opened packages...and hopefully find a home for the new packages.

That's what I've started doing, but no one wants my extras!! My scout troop has so many already, they don't want more. Family and friends walk the other way now when they see me coming with napkins and forks. So I'll see if I can sell them and make a few cents!

Well, I took the plunge, I faxed my notorized paper in today to MC. I need to clear something up with you active folks- so you get to keep what you don't sample out? You don't have to send it back to them? Please explain to me how this works. I know- you sign up for what you want and they send stuff to your house (right?). But then they also have napkins and spatulas and stuff they send too? Great! So this will all be explained when they interview me? I am very excited to get this going for some extra cash. My want list is growing...
