OMG today was awful.. the Walmart was MOBBED & they didn't have either the Fiber One bars or the Nature Valley cereal so I was stuck sampling the Nature Valley bars & plain old Cheerios... Stupid IMHO, who hasn't tried Cheerios!! And I'll lay money down that the Target doesn't have my Choxie for tomorrows event... After today I'm almost hoping it'll be a "manager refused" event... I know for a fact that this Target will not pull from stock for me to sample...

What is the funniest / strangest / oddest thing someone has said to you while working?

Mine is: During one food event, out of the blue, this lady tells me she likes my eyebrows. And wants to know if I shape them myself.
So...tell me....is this some kind of pick up line I don't know about?

Oh...so many!! Once at a wine event I got asked out by this drunk... he wanted me to go on a shrimp boat with him the next day, he said he's supply the Pabst Blue Ribbon! I graciously told him I was more a indoorsy kind of gal!

Well I did my Fuel Up event today: SORRY PEOPLE I forgot my camera at home so I could do my little tribute to a certain someone dear to me.

Anyways... Walmart had NEITHER of the feature items so I was lowered to use Nature Valley Oats & Honey and blahhhhh Cheerios.

Nothing special.. Splash... You sold a TON more than me. Maybe my "charmer" was broken

I met a lady from Promoworks... She was demoning Evenga (or however you spell it) and her turn out was amazing... People were all positive about it and were raving about it.

I sampled all three flavors, Green Tea (which is all we are sampling), Berry and peach.... To me they all suck.

But those who are afraid of the customer reaction to the lastest news stories... Don't worry people were excited to say that least.

Did anybody do the Oscar Meyer sandwiches. I sold out yesterday-- 64 sandwiches, but they were only $1 with the coupon? Their regular price was $2.99.

Sometimes my items sell and sometimes not. It seems really dependent on price and coupons, to be honest.

Oh, I forgot about Enviga. I was set up pretty close to one of those overhead TVs in Walmart today. It just keeps cycling thru commercials. Every 10 minutes or so....Enviga commercial followed by the $4 Walmart prescription commercial.

I'm doing Fuel-up again tomorrow & Tues. Honestly, I hope they carry Nature Valley cinnamon cereal instead of Oats & Honey like today....because it was pretty good...and sold fast.

Hey, for those doing CHOXIE tomorrow..... I WONDER if you can use these coupons for free bars. http://coupons.50webs.org/ I'm saving the link for future Target events --- like Enviga.

Click the coupon you want. Put in # of coupons you want. And print.

The link supposedly updates with each weeks coupons that appear directly on Target's site. But by printing them from link above, it prints 5 coupons on same sheet of paper...saving paper.

I saw it on another thread here on the DIS. People said they use multiple coupons, and they are accepted, as long as its not abused. Also, regular Target takes them even though they say SuperTarget.

I just noticed there is a $1 off Archer Farms chips on that link. For those doing the Choc Dipped Altoid demo, we are also doing Garlic Parm chips. And promoting larger size bags. Maybe we could tape some coupons to the bags. ???? We've done that with mfg coupons, but wonder how store will feel if we do it with their own store coupons?

I am like B. ***!! I had the same experience no Fiber One Bars, No Nature Valley Cereal just cheerios and Dry nature valley oat and honey bars. People complained all day long about how dry the granola bars were.

I do like the little plastic cutting boards they sent us, though! I like just being able to take the whole kit to the store and not having to lug all my stuff!

Today I am doing Kelloggs again. I went by the Target to see if they restocked and BINGO they didn't. How do you promote something for 5 hours that you can't sell? Tassimo was one thing the price scared alot of people away.

Back to the Kellogg dilemma, Since they instructions say to bring a cooler for the KO water of which they don't have. Do I still bring it knowing I won't be using it? Or save myself some carring and leave it home?

I did Cream brie with strawberry perserves yesterday.... They were $5 a box and I only sold 3 boxes, Not sure if that is good or not.. But most people didn't want to pay $5 a box for such a small amount of food..... ALthough they loved the taste.......

Some stores have a night crew...and only re-stock during the night. HOPEFULLY you'll have product when you get there. Good luck.

Sometimes the stores also have product where it's not supposed to be (i.e. - not in the normal area, but on an endcap or across the store). Not that it isn't SUPPOSED to be there, but often it makes no sense where they put it.

I plan on setting up at my home at about 1:45pm today...

This target NEVER gets anything Choxie... I really don't plan on doing the event. Luckily it is only 15mins away!

If I can set up it will be the choxie

3/4 Diet Pepsi Jazz and Fresh Step Cat Litter,for the same date and length of time, just opened up for me in the last hour. Guess which one I chose?

Hope Target has my Choxie today. I've never been to this store, so I don't know what to expect. I'm now booked at this store for one day of the next 3 weekends so I hope I like this place. I'll set up in the Food Avenue as directed, but hopefully the manager will have a better suggestion.

I know someone who is doing the Choxie event at the store I usually go to. They are setting up likely by food avenue, as was stated - but that is a terrible place to set up! Everyone is leaving the store when they hit Food Avenue here.
(Some Food Avenues are set up at the entrance).
