I don't have a hat and I have a ST this Sunday... Do I need to get a hat from somewhere?? or do you think the ST will have one there??? I just got my MC card yesterday... nothing about a hat.

I never wear a hat I always wear the netruel colored hairnets which ST happens to supply. But someone posted them being at Michaels I believe for 2.99

Did anyone get their kit yet for Sunday 10/29? The Lipton Ice tea/Dove event? I hope I get it soon.....according to the instructions I have to put together 300 satchels of samples.

Ok, My box came today with my stuff... That is good... I reread my instructions, they all say the hat will be at the store..
My instructions say bring an ice chest with me and my MC card.... What size ice chest would be best???
And do we keep our MC card and use it again next time?? I think so...
My first event is this Sunday... getting a little nervous!!!!!

If you are at a super target then I guess (I have never found one with a demo area yet) as other have stated on here the Demo area has all this stuff for you.

BTW you can get a black hat any sporting good store for cheap... I always wear mine unless they want me to wear the cute little buffinet (sp?) :teeth: Cute... I used the word cute to describe the hair net thingy, how adorable.

It depends on what type of thing you are demoing for the size of the ice chest. I have a real old one what will hold about 6 2-liters standing up.

KEEP YOUR MC CARD... that is your Debit card and will be used each and every event you do.

Mama as soon as I get my kit all we will be clear for event execution then :goodvibes

I wonder if this is why ebooking is slow for most of us. Maybe after Oct 30th jobs will pick up.

Also, I got my 3M kit today...Nice bubble wrap and packing for my E-bay shipping :thumbsup2

I am good to go... The instructions in the Kit say talk to manager if you can't locate the 4-way display...but never says you can not run event... So I plead the 5th and will still execute the event :)

I wonder if they have a Canadian affiliate? I'de love to get in on some occassional work, especially with the holidays coming up.

:confused3 I'm still doing it but... I double checked mine & under the Important section it says 'If you cannot locate the display, contact the store manager for assistance. If there is no display in the store DO NOT CONDUCT THE DEMO' and under What to Do it says " If a 4 way display is not set up in the store - Notify the store/assistant manager and set up display. If the 4 way display cannot be found within an hour make an MC Card purchase not to exceed .75 including tax and do not proceed with the event."

I am talking about the paperwork that came in the actual kit... it never says, "do not conduct event" However, yes the event instructions from ebooking does say DO NOT CONDUCT.

also looking over the paperwork from the kit #5 says, "PURCHASE 2 BAGS OF HERSHEY KISSES FOR GIVE-AWAYS AT YOUR DEMO TABLE. PLACE DEMO TABLE/CART FOR PUBLIC TO SAMPLE WHITE YOU ENGAGE THEM IN CONVERSATION ABOUT THE SCOTCH-BRITE QUICK CLEAN TOOLS & PASS OUT PRODUCT BROCHURES"

ummm that wasn't included in my ebooking event instructions... Do we still buy them?

Ohhh.. didn't even look to see if the instructions were different... I'd say email them but then you can't claim ignorance ;)

:rotfl2: ...so BRIBE the customers with chocolate kisses to stay at our table while we talk about cleaning products. :rotfl2:

The Choxie's didn't keep them at my Tassimo event table long enough to talk.. I highly doubt those kisses would for cleaning products... I am going to now do two things against the instructions: 1) executing event whether or not display is there and 2) NOT buying those darn kisses as money not alloted for it.

I'm sitting here wondering if I should book up all the remaining 3M Scotch Brite off date events in my area. Now, in theory, that means I would be working like 4 straight days of this event, followed by 1 day of Barber Foods.

I REALLY don't want to work that many days. LOL, but you KNOW if I follow the directions, the display won't be there & I won't really have to stay for more than an hour. So I would get $28 for the hour. And I could have the rest of the day off. LOL I could just keep re-using the same kit.

So, don't book & get nothing....or book them all & make $28 each. It would suck though if I actually ended up having to DO them all because the displays were there. :rotfl:

Don't know what has come over me, but this is what I decided to do. I unbooked both Scotch Brites I had booked for Sun & Tues. THEN I rebooked the same 2 stores, but swapped Sun store for Tues; & Tues store for Sun. I figure the store I'm doing on Sunday now has a better chance of having display & product. Its always a nice store. That way I'll get the full $70. Then local currently screwed up (resetting) store will be Tuesdays event, & I'll be 2 miles from home & be home in time for Halloween. (Actually, I'm really hoping for just $28 for the 1 hour on this one. ;) )

Then, to torture myself more than EVER, I booked another store for Monday in between the other 2. First time at this store, since its the town I worked at bank & sold insurance in for 20 yrs total until Feb. I've really been dreading going back there....because I know so many people. But, I've got to face my demons. I'm not embarrassed or anything, I just don't want to have to keep explaining why I left the agency. If I tell the truth to them about how boss was acting towards us, it gives a well known local name a bad mark. So, I guess I'll have to be doing some lying that day. Wish me luck.

I'll have Wed off, then Thurs, its my first microwave demo for Barber Foods chicken breasts.

Then off till Tassimo 11/19.

Hate cleaning products....but I want some $ for my savings account. Ugh.

Can someone from SPI give me the breakdown for the 6 hour event payscale? I think I have some missing pay!

My only 6 hr event was my very first event. Clorox Daily Sanitizing Spray at a Lowes store on a Fri afternoon. All guys. lol

What event did you have that was 6 hrs? I've never seen another one since.
