I didnt know what the extra cardboard thingy was either so I recycled it with my outer box.
I have not received the MC signage (kids under 14, allergy alert) with my last two kits either. I took one to Saturdays event, but forgot yesterday.
As much as I try to prepare in advance, Im beginning to wonder why. After sore finger tips from last weeks Enviga cans, I knew a gripper to open 2 liter bottles would be needed to save the side of my finger opening liter bottles. Took the gripper and guess what? They didnt have 2 liter bottles - just cans.

Left my can thingy/opener at home. Guess I should have taken both
Brivers - Your tables always look so nice.

I was setting my cups on top of individual napkins, but your way is much better. Most customers never took the napkins when they picked up the cup.
Customers: I was at two different Targets this weekend. One close to OSU college campus and the other close to my area that attracts more families. The one close to the college campus had "packs" of 4+ kids coming in and tended to walk right by my table. This Targets Food Ave. is where you come in the store. Had one
over 40 man try and stick his hand in my chip bag. I had 3 samples on napkins on the table. I didnt offer him a sample from the bag. Had he not seen a sampling station before? Why would you reach for the sampling bag I was holding?

The other biggie: Samples of 3 - 4 chips were on individual napkins and people would take one chip off the napkin and leave.

This happened a lot. Now the Target close to me with the families. While parents are checking out, they send their kids over to get samples. I politely let the kids know they need to be 14. Mom finishes checking out and comes over to say how stupid it is for her to have to give them samples and tells the kids to get what they want.

The kids start grabbing everything in site like they havent eaten in a week. Thats one reason I dont like to leave samples on the table. Yesterday, I left 2 samples out of each Pepsi variety and many took a sample of each which was OK, but I almost ran out of cups.
Inventory - There were about 75 packages of Flat Earth Crisps on the shelf. About an hour into the demo, the Frito Lay vendor showed up at my table with 8 cases of Crisps asking where I wanted them.

The manager took care of the issue. When I went to check the shelf after event was over, the shelf was now fully stocked so I had no idea what sold. Took a guess at 25. As for Diet Pepsi Jazz - no liter bottles in stock and only 13 12pk cartons available for sale of which I used 3 for my display.
Kits - No kit for Flat Earth Crisps, so no coupons.

Kit was found for Diet Pepsi Jazz.
Reactions: Interesting or Different was used to describe the Caramel Cream Jazz which usually meant they didnt like it. Most liked the Black Cherry French Vanilla best. Very positive response to the Flat Earth Crisps. Unfortunately, I didnt have a coupon to give them.
Trash - If I see people walking away with an empty cup/napkin or if they set it back on the table, I tell them where the trash is.
Two events for next weekend then nothing.
