Ya know how this thread never showed up in Google before? Well it does now! I just searched the name of the candy event I'm doing....and this thread is the first listed result! I guess we aren't much of a secret anymore. Type in any name of any product we've ever done & this thread probably pops up now.
Maybe we should start using more codes; I have enough competition!!!

I just got the Choxie event at Target:thumbsup2 I have the Campino event next weekend, setting up nearer to the front sounds like a plan!!

and if you search for our employers name with no space between the words, this thread now comes up. Which means I'm SURE they've read it & anyone else looking to apply...or at least part of it. :goodvibes

Choxie just showed up for Thanksgiving weekend (sunday). Normally, I wouldn't book that due to holiday & xmas shoppers, but my family will be here Wed - Mon and I think escaping to Target for a few hours may be needed by Sunday. :rotfl2:

Got the Choxie event at Target-and it is a regular T not a super T! I was thinking this one bypassed my area or I was way too slow to get it since someone first posted about it a while ago. My lucky day!! Now I can just hope that one of the other stores in my area will remain open and I can book a double. That is Thanksgiving weekend so maybe that will happen.

Just picked up a soup event for Thurs 11/8 at WMSuper. 3pm - 8pm. Is this going to be another new trend???

If anyone is looking for a small, efficient crockpot for these soup events I found an awesome little 2-quart Rival crockpot at Wal-Mart for $8.95!

I used it last night and the first can of soup took a little longer than 10 minutes because the pot needed to heat up but once it was hot the other cans heated in no time. I was very happy with it.

I did a 3-7pm yesterday at Walmart SC and it really went by pretty fast. I had a lot of parents and kids who hadn't eaten dinner yet so they filled their kids full of soup. LOL I didn't taste it but it sure did smell delicious and everyone loved it. It was the Muir Glen chicken noodle soup and I also had their fire roasted tomatoes, which were also a big hit. I didn't sell much of either but people did like them a lot.

I don't think some people really understand what organic means though. Some were interested and then when they saw the words organic they were like ew, no thanks. :confused3 I think they must have thought it was tofu chicken noodle soup... LOL

Too funny!

So it's "cam PEE no" with a Swedish accent. I can do that! (and half my shoppers will be Swedes and Norwegians just like me).

I don't know about the accent. I was finding info that looks like the candy has been a hit in Europe for a few years now, but referred to as Strawberries & Creme or Orange & Creme. Couldn't find a company website. And I KNOW we have a candy just like this already in the US, because DH & I used to buy it. Tasted just like a Cremesicle. Can't remember who makes it though. Even looks the same.

So I'll just do "Camp EEE no" instead of "Camp IN o". No accent. lol

and that helps me how? Find me one in English. ;) I guess that's why there isn't a website in our instructions. lol

I was just having fun with ya... there is an English website too: http://www.storck.com/ (lists all the countries) and: http://www.storck.us/en/ (not updated with Campino yet)

How much do you want to bet that the stores are not going to have this on the shelves yet? I'm going to set up and swipe in before I go searching.

Can’t believe I pulled a Brivers this morning. :rotfl: There were 2 10/20 events unbooked and I knew they’d go off-date today. Got up at 3:00am to grab them. First woke up at 2:10am and thought, no it’s not midnight in CA yet. Then woke up at 2:58, went downstairs and turned on the computer, then quickly grabbed those jobs. :thumbsup2 Oh, the life of a Demo lady. Only jobs now left on ebooking is the 11/25 Target. Guess I can sleep all night for a while. :rotfl2:

kpauley It's a dog eat dog world out there. A girl has do what girl has to do to stay alive.;)

I picked up 3 events last night. I have to be fast. Around here there a lot of new people are starting to do this events. In my opinion SPI needs to be a little more selective of the event people. The new people I see around here are not even wearing the required clothing let alone staying by their tables.

I've seen it too - if you read the article Spash linked, it's probably because they're targeting a really young group for new hires.

I had no problem booking off-date just now and it's 8:36am here!:thumbsup2
All were still open so I got the store I wanted for 10/25!:woohoo:

Splash, is the candy you are thinking of the Lifesavers CremeSavers? Those were really yummy and were just like what you are talking about. :)

I'm off to do my first ST even this morning. I'm excited and nervous too. This is going to be my primary store though from the looks of things so I'm sure I'll make myself at home in no time. :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

I got woke up at 3:30am by thunderstorms and jumped online to grab some off dates too LOL Ended up with 3 of them :thumbsup2
