Waly Disney World baby conceptions

Our lil princess: is a direct result of a Disney "pre-honeymoon"... Two weeks before we got married, we spent a couple nights at the ASSp...I had it just about planned.

The weird thing, though, is that my mother's due date with ME was the same as mine with Emma Clare. So, y'all know what *that* means. Icky-yucky-ewwwwwww!

DH and I got married in March 2001 and wanted to wait a year to start trying. We were headed to WDW in November 2001 and decided on the plane ride down to Orlando to not really try.... but not do anything to stop it. We figured it takes people a while to get pregnant, right?

Remember, this is November 2001. The parks were dead, September 11 had just happened, and no one wanted to travel. So we had the place to ourselves basically.

There used to be this place on Pleasure Island called 8Trax. 70's music, a disco, a fishbowl full of MaiTai, someone walking around the street passing out Jello Shots.......

Her name is Helena and she is 8!! :thumbsup2

Am I the only one who can't pinpoint when and where I conceived my kids? Or do I just have a super active, hot sex life?

LOL! Actually we were with my Dad on this trip and pretty much had to squeeze it in whenever we could, that's why we remember!

Wow, that could really go two different ways! ;)

Never got a souvenir myself because I have a bad habit of turning up pregnant sometime between booking a trip and actually traveling. DH jokes that buying me Disney tickets is the best aphrodesiac. :rotfl:

I agree if my DH buys me Disney tickets it's an aphrodesiac but next month he's going to have to take a cold shower and wait until we get there!

I remember that commercial a few years ago when the little girl says her mommy brought home a little souvenir from WDW. I always thought it was so cute. Hmmm maybe it was a marketing strategy to get couples to Disney!

The "Mouse Tales" series of books talks about conceptions inside the original Disneyland, including on "Adventure Thru Inner Space". Honest.:lmao::rotfl2:

Apparently Night of Joy is a "hot date night", and so is Grad Nite. During both events, Cast Members are staged throughout the parks and even hidden inside the rides to watch for these kinds of activities. Especially rides like Pirates and Splash. Then they get the shame of the flashlight on them.

omg I'm so not brave enough to do something like that!:scared1: :rotfl: And I want it to be romantic not wild and exciting.:lovestruc

Read somewhere that Mario Lopez did it on Pirates at Disneyland, but seriously, after a day at the parks, who has the energy left for one more ride on "space mountain"?! Half the time I don't even remember hitting the pillow!

More power to all those magic makers on this thread though! LOL

(btw, this is the most scandalous Disney related thread I've ever read! Balconies at Wilderness Lodge?? LOL!)

I'm due in June, our baby was conceived during our trip in September. And yes, I'm a 100% sure of that ;)

We have 2 Disney babies! DS (8) was conceived at WDW the week after 9/11 and DD (5) was conceived in DLP pretty much exactly 3 years later (they both had the same due date!)

Yes! My daughter was conceived at Wilderness Lodge...it was the first time my husband and I stayed on Disney property! :)

This thread is pretty weird. Who talks about these things!? And is a baby any less special if it's conceived at home?

I guess everyone who has posted here talks about these things!:goodvibes And my two daughters who were conceived at home are just as special as the daughter conceived at Disney!

lol well I was just curious about "Disney babies", not the scandalous stuff! lol

Thumperr, Bonnie151 and Jacoby 46 :woohoo:!! By next year at this time I hope I'll be one of the ranks!

I talk about it because I think it's extra-magical lol! I'm not weird, I just think if I'm going to start a family, why not aim for a Disney conception. I got engaged in WDW and that's a very special memory so a Disney baby would be an extra special memory.
To answer your question is a baby conceived at home any less special, my answer is of course not!

Why not? Does it embarrass you?

Of course it isn't any 'less' special, but maybe cheaper.

I have two others besides my disney baby and I love them all equally and differently! Every kid is different, my first is my Disney souvenir!
