Hey Warriors!
OK, I really need to start doing totals so I don't torment Carrie! Having said that, I only know the last two workouts. I went from compulsively writing every update in WISH green in my calendar to nothing. Crazy.
Anyway, Thursday night ended up being a R/W with two friends. (DH decided he didn't value my company enough to walk with the kids, so he went on his own
) They were asking me for basic advice, which was really fun since not many people want to hear about training! We did 4.5 miles in 70 minutes. The best part was that we were circling our church, and they have a night service on Thursday. The babysitter took all of our kids! (We did pay her some since she stayed longer). We're thinking that's the plan for every Thursday night, even if we look like heathens!
Saturday, Coach Harry and I did 7 miles in 85 minutes of all running at St. Simons Island. I ended up with sunburned arms- at least I was right in thinking it was miserably hot! No speed records, but I was happy to be back to our routine. Unfortunately, until the live oak pollen calms down, that may be the last long run I can do with Harry for awhile.
He was all stuffy and hacking afterwards- I think it's allergies. The wind was blowing straight at us, so he never had a chance...
That's it for now!

I couldn't have got this far without all you guys so thank you so so much
I really wanted to blow it off today. No real reason why--I feel fine, etc. I just wasn't into it...and I had a 60-minute run scheduled, which was DAUNTING, I tell ya. So I told myself that I at least had to get out there and do SOMETHING. I started bargaining with myself...I would see how I felt after 30 minutes, etc.
so after putting her on the bus, I went for a run.... These were my first two runs outside in the new (and fitted for) sneakers... My calves feel it, but overall definitely good sneaks! I also did a pilates DVD last night, and plan on getting to it again tonight.... Didn't mean to ramble, just happy to be back doing something again!
