Nancy: I plan to be at the Pop at 4:00. Having the absolute worst day today....my stress levels are so high, I'm getting lightheaded. As soon as I get on the plane I'll be fine, but until then it's gonna be a nightmare. No one lifts a finger and I have to take care of everything. Sorry, major whine!

I am not looking forward to doing this in the rain but we probably will. I am bringing a plastic poncho and hat.....and a very lightweight backpack to carry them. If my shoes get wet, I'm screwed but what can you do?

Nancy/ Maria: is it OK to drink? I've pretty much sworn off alcohol this week until after the race. Nancy and I had lots of wine before our half-marathon in Allentown, but a full is so much more taxing. I am definitely going to treat myself to a nice little umbrella drink at Ohanas on Sunday when everything is over.

I am right there with you on having a really bad day. I'm shocked that no one is helping you. My family is just as helpful as yours. Norm has asked me at least a dozen times where we are staying at and still doesn't remember what I tell him. Stop asking, just get on the plane and then ME and see where you end up at. I yelled at Brian when he asked a stupid question and he has pretty much stayed out of my way since them. And they wonder why we are Bi**hing. Stop asking about things and do something.

I didn't realize it is suppose to rain. I think I have an old Mickey poncho that I could use. I'm drinking a bottle of wine after the marathon. I found that Advil and wine take all sorts of pain away. I might do a beer or two on Friday but nothing on Sat.

Maria--- I could float around Stormaway Bay and drink all at the same time. How relaxing that would be.

Jeanne--- My one up for the day is that York Hospital ERA is having a bus trip to see Jersey Boys in April to NYC. My one friend and I signed up to do it today. I have so wanted to see that show.

My dh is just as with it as everyone else's -- he scheduled a meeting for tomorrow morning, since our flight doesn't leave 'til 3. This is the flight I went over with him multiple times, that leaves at 1! Aaaargh! He had to cancel, so maybe he will begin to listen to me.

He has yet begun to pack (I gave him a list, we'll see how much of it he follows). But I am so happy he's doing this with me, I'll cut him a ton of slack. I don't think I would have the courage to do it without him. Well, I would now with all the encouragement I've had from you guys, but I wouldn't have when I signed up!

The drinking was a joke on my part, I'm not about to go near alcohol until my event is over. I'm a total lightweight and not much of a drinker anyway, so the last thing I need to do is change my routine and have my body go crazy.

This is either going to be the longest or shortest evening in history...But in the words of Mr. Roake, "Smiles everyone, Smiles!"

I have that day every Dec. 23rd, when I realize that everything is falling on me as usual, and dh announces he's going to spend all of Christmas Eve shopping for my presents. I'm supposed to be delighted, instead I'm miffed because I expected him to be available to help...but I guess it's better than not having presents to open

Jeanne -- We all have those days with the opposite gender, but it's ok, there are plenty of wonderful days which put days like today in perspective. I'm not sure if I sound like Polyanna or Snow White, but I'm busy looking for that silver lining!

That would be a relief. I "hope" that's the case. If not, everyone should be careful if they are close to Denise. Starting to sound like full contact distant events.

OMG, I'm laughing so much I'm crying. The poor girl fell on her way home from voting in the NH primary. Doing her civic duty and that happens!

Wait till I see her tomorrow. She'll get a charge out of it.

Denise, We share the same goals for this weekend. Like someone else posted about their friend, my dd (8) always asks if I'm going to win. She doesn't yet understand that as long as I make it over the starting line I have already won. The rest is just cake. Okay, maybe I should say low-fat frozen yogurt or something like that.

Safe travels to those traveling today and to those already there -- behave yourselves. And to those staying on the homefront..... thanks for your support, encouragement, and prayers for this weekend.

Dave, Erica, Scott H, Lynn, Linda, and I did a few laps in EPCOT last night with some good conversation and adult beverages. The kids went home early so Linda and I headed to ESPN for some wings and beer.

Came back to our room to find remote dead, no bowls, deadbolt not working and sleeper sofa falling apart. Had maintenance in our room until midnight. They still couldn't fix our sofa. They will be coming back today. I hope!

Heading out to the expo soon with Evil Panda!

Robert--Just make sure you pace your adult carb loading till Sunday afternoon.

What's going on with my DVC "home" by the way? Doesn't sound like our maintenance fees are being put to good use. Have they not replaced the sleeper-sofa in that unit yet with the new style?

Try not to let the Panda's "friends" keep him if you make it to AK.
