Walk up for the CG

Wanted to eat there on Sunday 10/5, but nothing available until after 9:30pm. That's too late for me to eat a big dinner.

Not interested in seeing the fireworks, just want a good CG dinner.

Has anyone ever had success at just walking up? I was thinking maybe giving it a try around 5:45 or 6 pm. Am I an escapee from Fantasyland?

TIA for any comments or experiences (successful or otherwise).

You might be lucky during the week, but the weekends are usually packed, including Sunday night.

I've eaten in the lounge twice. They serve the full menu. They also have some chairs and tables so you don't have to sit at a bar. It's small, but most people hanging around there are waiting for a table and will clear out. Check at the 2nd floor podium and see if they'll let you go to the lounge.
