Walk-up for Ohana's?

We had a change in our plans for early December and have some friends who are now joining us on our trip. We're trying to adjust one meal to include them; our ADR's were already made.....

We'd all like to eat at Ohana's and as of now, there's nothing available. Should we chance a walk-up?

Whoops....edit....forgot to mention we want to eat breakfast.....

Only if you have a plan B. 'Ohana tends to be sold out most nights, if you were to try a walkup, i would do it when it first opens.

I would get there by 8am....that will get you the best shot at getting in. The good thing is you'll be at the Poly so if you don't get into 'Ohana's you can then try Kona Cafe and if you don't get in there either you can get breakfast at the resort CS Captain Cooks.

We did a 7:30 am breakfast there last month. We arrived at 7:15 am and no one was at the podium yet. At 7:25 a woman came out to the podium and announced that she was checking in reservations only at this time and if you did not have a reservation to stand to the left. We were the second party called so I dont know if she was able to get any non reservation people in or not.

For other meals at other places we find if you are there right when the place opens you have a shot
