We just returned from our trip and had a wonderful time - though I did see something that was a bit disappointing. A teen girl getting upset and arguing about who got to Wake up Tinkerbell.
I think that the internet is great for advice and tips for trips to WDW however some people just take it too far - I think the Waking Tinkberbell is really cool and my DD was lucky enough to get to do it last year - Thank god is wasn't well known yet - This trip we had an early CRT PS and DD asked if she could try to Wake Tink again - I warned her that it is more popular and she may not get to but we would go check after Breakfast - she said that she would like to but if another child was there that hadn't done it she would let them do it since she did it last year and she would just watch - Any way we are waiting for the rope drop and after it drops we start to walk to Tinkerbell's Treasure - there are about 3 or 4 families running to the shop so I know that word is out - so we know we won't do it but we decide to stop and watch. I guess 2 of the familes got there at the same time , one family with 2 young girls the other was a teenager - The CM wanted to know who got there first and the Teen started arguing and throwing a fit that she was there first - the young girls got to Wake up Tink as the teenager pouted and complained that she was there first - The Cm said that everyone there could get their pics by the box and hold the wand - We declined as DD just wanted to watch. I know it is really cool to do something that not everyone knows about but I think that adults and teens should refrain from trying to do this and leave it for the children. There are so many Magical Moments at WDW - in my opinion the Waking Tink is for the children not the teens and adults that just want to do it to say that they did it. Sorry but I just had to vent about this one.
