Waitlist w/o enough points

So we are adding one night onto our Oct trip (10/25) and there is not a DVC studio to be had ANYWHERE on property.

I don't have any 2014 points but I have 13 pts left in 2015 (I'm an August UY). A studio at OKW is 14 points but it let me waitlist it anyway. So what's going to happen if that waitlist comes through and I don't have enough points?

If you don't have enough points (current UY & next UY), they will cancel the wait list entry if it matches.

You'd have to get a transfer from another member. You can't use One Time Use Points to satisfy a wait list.

OP: Do you have any reservations in your 2015 UY? If so, you can work with MS to borrow from 2016, cancel that reservation, reallocate your 2015 reservation to use borrowed points, thus freeing up more 2015 UY points that CAN be borrowed to 2014 if your WL clears. Best of luck. -- Suzanne
