Waitlist Thanksgiving week

Do I have a chance at getting a room Thanksgiving week at any DVC resort?

All I can say is keep the faith, you never know what might become available. It's going to be a pretty slim chance. I was on the wait list too for that week, but mine came thru months and months ago. Hope you can make it.

I was on the waitlist for Thanksgiving too. The days started to come through when I was willing to waitlist day by day (when I had all our days together nothing was happening). I still held on to my original reservation at Hilton Head until all the days I wanted came through and now we've got just want we wanted - the first part of the week at HH and the rest of the week at OKW. I hope your reservation comes through but as the previous poster mentioned, our days came through months ago.

If there were no chance at all, MS would not even put you on the waitlist, so there is still hope. The 31 day mark for Thanskgiving week is quickly approaching. Those who are thinking about cancelling will have to make a firm decision soon to avoid having their points go into a holding account. If you don't hear something by 29 or 30 days ahead of your check out date, the chances of getting your reservation are not very good.

We only made the reservation a month ago after coming back from BWV. So I was not overly optimistic but figured well – maybe we will be lucky. Hey - it is only an 18-hour drive for us. Thanks for the encouragement. I’ll post the results.

I just released a studio at OKW for the night after Thanksgiving (we're going to switch over to U/IOA for a night). So keep watching. People DO change their ressies this close to the trip!
