Waiting for Sept. Hours - anyone else?

I am a little bummed. I made my ADR's last week when my 90+10 window opened up. I was able to get a Le Cellier for 9/2. According to the TA's calendar posted here that day (not Sat 9/5) is the AK EMH evening. So I quick tried to move my LeCellier and now all the evenings are scooped up!!!
I was only able to get LeCellier for lunch on 9/5 and I had to move my Teppan Edo from lunch to dinner on 9/5. I left LeCellier dinner on 9/2 for now. We'll see what the official calendar says.

What is the 90+10?? Is it 90 days from your arrival date and you can make ADRS for the first 10 days of your trip? Please correct me if I'm wrong our 90 for ADRS is June 29.

We usually allow an hour transportation time, though it's usually less (generally 45 minutes is enough but you never know when you'll just miss a bus and have to wait a little longer). The exception is at park closing after fireworks. That always takes a little longer because of everyone exiting at once. Then I'd allow an hour and 15 minutes (from the time you actually leave, not from the time fireworks start).

Thank you! :goodvibes You're right, I was totally thinking Illuminations being over at 9 but it only starts at 9... and then not factoring in the rush of crowds.

Ahhhhhh, too much to think about!

You got it! :thumbsup2

Just one quick thing to those worried about whether their kids can handle a late night. Don't forget to adjust for time changes if you are not in the east. At one point I was wondering if we would want to do a dinner at 8:00 or 8:30, then I realized that this would be 7:00 for us, and 6:00 for our family from Colorado. Also, park closing at 10:00 is really 9:00 for us and 8:00 for our family.

Everyone may have already thought about this, but for a while it slipped my mind that we are going to be an hour ahead of what is normal for us.

(Of course, that makes getting up for an 8:05 breakfast really hard, because that is 7:05 for us and 6:05 for our family! It does cut both ways.)

Does anyone have an email or a phone number to get to Disney to complain? We have a trip startng very early October. I think it is ridiculous that people who can start making there ADR's today for Sept 1 don't even have park hours yet. I understand Disney is in a pickle with revenue, but what about all of us spending our hard earned money to vacation there (and pay way over price!). I think they could at least get the hours out a day or 2 before the start of the month (ie hours for October should be released AT LEAST by June 30)

THanks

So are the park hours that were posted by someone earlier legitimate. The official park hours from Disney have still not been released correct?

Yes, but they are not "official" yet. They are subject to change. They were posted earlier today on the Disney TA website.

UGH! Already booked up LeCellier! I am trying to get the 9th, but I can't book until Sunday. I am just crossing my fingers we will be able to get something!

I figued Fantasmic would be cut down to 2 or 3 shows, I was just really hoping that Disney would plan it out so that Fantasmic was not on the same night as MNSSHP. I wish they had put the Fantasmic for 9/29 on either 9/28 or 9/30.

It is what it is, and we will plan around it the best we can, but it is not what we were hoping to see.

We were hoping the same thing. I had pencilled in 9/28 and was sitting with everything crossed hoping it would be there that night. We are doing MNSSHP on the 29th. I do have longer there and can schedule it in later but then I'm going into October and didn't want to be reliant on waiting for Oct dates to plan the extra shows. I suppose I could change MNSSHP.

Just wanted to say thanks to those who posted about my questions earlier today. The "crazy" hours and lack of EMH showing certainly won't stop us from having a blast! :cool1: I agree, I betcha 10/1 and 10/2 of our week will probably have the EMH hours for MK.

Thanks again and hope we get the confirmed times soon. Just remember, as others have stated, the confirmed hours can still change!! YIKES! :rotfl:

I'm waiting impatiently for September hours to posted because I can't do much more planning until those hours are posted. Come on Disney post those hours soon, we know you can do it.:cheer2:

Umm... the hours ARE posted through the Travel Agent website. Go back a few pages on here. They're as official as you're going to get for now.

Just checked Disney's website for Sept hours-TL and BB hours are posted. Shouldn't be long now...... (hopefully)
