Waiting for Rest of Fall 2015 Room Only Discount

I was really hoping for a Royal Room for my mother/daughter trip, but alas no such luck. I will keep checking though! (Dec 1st-4th)

I need at ask the experts something. We are booked at Port Orleans French Quarter from 11/11-11/18. I was able to get a River Room discounted which saved me about $130 over my Garden View at full price. However 11/11-11/17 and 11/17-11/18 both all have garden view discounted rooms available if i split up my reservation saving me another $100. Would you switch and risk having to change rooms for the last night?

We were at rack rate at the Beach Club Villas, & no discounts there, or any of the Epcot Resorts, or any reasonable discounts at any of the Deluxe's, so I took the 25% off at Riverside. Couldn't not take it, especially with my daughter's wedding this fall. I'm happy I got what I got!

November 9-17. I know there's a tiny discount at the BC, but it's so tiny it's not even worth it.

Was hoping for at least 20% off at Beach Club but that didn't happen so back to my original plan for POR FQ. I managed POR French Quarter with an orbitz discount but no Disney discount, it wasn't even available through Disney for my 2 days so I'm glad I got it!

Fair warning now I'm gonna vent a bit too. This was my first time booking a trip to wdw, the discount percentages are what they are I accept that. But all of this "no availability"? That is ridiculous. I was looking at all these rooms available on Orbitz... but not at the discount rates. And not because Orbitz hasn't processed through the discount because I saw club level rooms listed at discount (I've seen before where they are late processing Disney discounts when the spring Disneyland rate came out and orbitz didn't get it in their system until afternoon but its obviously in their system already). It's completely bait and switch and I find myself VERY disappointed in Disney today, and I love Disney but the bubble has popped for now. Thanks for letting me vent disboards, I'll step off my soapbox now. Best of luck to everyone in catching their speciifc discounts though!

I'm at POFQ starting October 14 and no discounts were available (not surprised there) for POFQ or POR. They had an upgraded room at CSR, but it didn't save me enough to be worth switching ($90). She did say to try back later though.

Got started a little later than usual. Was able to get our Dec dates at Boardwalk inn. Rooms are very limited. Was hoping for a 30% discount, but with25% discount at least I can make that work.

I was able to get 10/20 res in a garden at yc and then get the same room/same discount for the next two nights on a separate res. I then called and the cast member merged my two reservations together. They told me as long as it's the same category and same discount they can merge them

Going over Thanksgiving - our 1st 3 nights are rack rate but was able to get a small (15%) discount applied to last 3 nights. Staying at Beach Club. Saved about $209 and change. Was thinking about doing a split stay- (3 night w/ 7day ph's at BC & 3 nights room only at GF- 25% discount at gf) but the cm said my trip ins would not cover the 2nd resort / only the packaged part of trip- because trip insurance can't be applied to a room only reservation. So, we opted to do full stay at BC.

So excited to be going to Disney in 4 months! It feels so close now!

Would anyone change their existing Boardwalk Villa rack rate room for a Polynesian Standard Villa that would cost approximately $230 total less for 7 nights? This is our first adult-only trip and going primarily for the last weekend of F&W festival. Was really hoping for a discount but nothing is available. I can't decide!...ugh. I'm sure the Poly would be beautiful, but not sure if the savings are enough to change the whole feel of the vacation...

I'm not surprised the Fall discount is lame. The previous ones weren't good and even the Pin/UOC deals had little availability. Looks like they have plenty filled their rooms this year...
